Co-created by SoA’s Kurt Sutter and ex-biker-turned-filmmaker Elgin James, the show continues the saga in a post-Jax Teller world. EZ Reyes (JD Pardo – ‘Revolution’, ‘East Los High’) is fresh out of prison and a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the Californian/Mexican border. EZ must carve out his new outlaw identity in a town where he once was the golden boy who had the American Dream within his grasp.
The cast also includes Edward James Olmos (‘Battlestar Galactica’, ‘Dexter’), who plays Felipe Reyes, father of EZ. He is the once strong Mexican patriarch, crushed by bullets and hard labour, who struggles to keep his past buried and lead his sons down a lawful, righteous path.
Other cast members are Sarah Bolger (‘Into the Badlands’, ‘Once Upon a Time’), Clayton Cardenas (‘American Crime’), Richard Cabral (‘Lethal Weapon’, ‘American Crime’), Michael Irby (‘SEAL Team’, ‘True Detective’, ‘Taken’), Raoul Trujillo (‘Jamestown’, ‘The Blacklist’), Antonio Jaramillo (‘Shades of Blue’, ‘Dallas’) and Carla Baratta.

I see you have updated with the date for the final season (5) on Disney+, are we to presume the BBC will not be getting season 4? Alternatively, now that Disney have said they are willing to sell their shows elsewhere is there still a chance the BBC could show it Dave? Thanks.
Yes, they are going straight to Disney+ for now. But, as you mention, Disney has talked about selling on shows, so it’s not impossible it could show up on the BBC at some point in the future.

Unclear on the timing at the moment, but I think it’ll go straight to Disney+ UK when it does land as the BBC/FX deal has ended.
Oh man that is a shame I really don’t wanna subscribe to Disney man i guess at the moment that is the only option.

Is Mayans M.C Season 1 not starting Saturday 2nd Feb, 10:40pm, starting with a double bill. That’s what’s been advertised. Indeed your own news article about BBC announcing the start of Mayans M.C says this. This page currently says 9th Feb, 10;30pm.
Correction, your news article does says 9th Feb now but 10:40 not 10:30. Also, Radio Times TV guide lists it as 2nd Feb, 10:40, double bill.
Yes, it seems there was a late change in the schedule. It now appears to be showing as being bumped by 1 week to the 9th Feb.
BBC website and their own TV guide still list it as 2nd Feb 10:40. As does Radio Times TV guide.
