Premieres Coming To Disney+ UK In November 2021

Disney has released their full list of upcoming premieres for November on Disney+ and Star in the UK, as the streaming service heads toward the festive period! Here is a breakdown of all the premieres landing on the streaming service next month.

Disney+ & STAR Originals November Highlights

The Premise – 3rd November 2021

Hosted by B.J. Novak, this anthology series about timeless moral questions in unprecedented times, takes provocative concepts and brings them into the open, delivering three-dimensional, character-driven stories with humour and heart.

Family Guy Season 20 – 3rd November 2021

‘Family Guy’ features the adventures of the Griffin family, moving exclusively to Disney+ in the UK. Endearingly ignorant Peter and his stay-at-home wife Lois reside in Quahog, R.I., and have three kids. Meg, the eldest child, is a social outcast, and teenage Chris is awkward and clueless when it comes to the opposite sex. The youngest, Stewie, is a genius baby bent on killing his mother and destroying the world. The talking dog, Brian, keeps Stewie in check while sipping martinis and sorting through his own life issues.

Home Sweet Home Alone – 12th November 2021

Max Mercer is a mischievous and resourceful young boy who has been left behind while his family is in Japan for the holidays. So when a married couple attempting to retrieve a priceless heirloom set their sights on the Mercer family’s home, it’s up to Max to protect it from the trespassers – and he’ll do whatever it takes to keep them out. Hilarious hijinks of epic proportions ensue, but despite the absolute chaos, Max comes to realise that there really is no place like home sweet home. The film stars Ellie Kemper, Rob Delaney, Archie Yates, Aisling Bea and more.

Olaf Presents – 12th November 2021

In ‘Olaf Presents’, Olaf steps into the spotlight and goes from snowman to showman as he takes on the roles of producer, actor, costumer and set builder for his unique “retelling” of five favourite Disney animated tales. The charismatic and versatile Olaf demonstrates his theatrical flair, taking on such iconic roles as a mermaid, a genie, a lion king (and most of the parts in between), as he entertains Arendelle with his delightful abbreviated versions of these beloved tales. Josh Gad returns to voice Olaf with veteran Disney animator Hyrum Osmond directing and Jennifer Newfield producing.

Jungle Cruise – 12th November 2021

Coming to Disney+ for all subscribers, ‘Jungle Cruise’ is an adventure-filled, rollicking thrill-ride down the Amazon with wisecracking skipper Frank Wolff (Dwayne Johnson) and intrepid researcher Dr. Lily Houghton (Emily Blunt). Lily travels from London, England to the Amazon jungle and enlists Frank’s questionable services to guide her downriver on La Quila—his ramshackle-but-charming boat. Lily is determined to uncover an ancient tree with unparalleled healing abilities—possessing the power to change the future of medicine. Thrust on this epic quest together, the unlikely duo encounters innumerable dangers and supernatural forces, all lurking in the deceptive beauty of the lush rainforest. But as the secrets of the lost tree unfold, the stakes reach even higher for Lily and Frank and their fate – and mankind’s – hangs in the balance.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings – 12th November 2021

Coming to Disney+ for all subscribers, the film stars Simu Liu (‘Kim’s Convenience’, ‘Blood and Water’) as Shang-Chi, who must confront the past he thought he left behind when he is drawn into the web of the mysterious Ten Rings organization. Joining Liu are Tony Leung (‘Infernal Affairs’) as Wenwu, Awkwafina (‘Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens’) as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy, and Michelle Yeoh (‘Star Trek: Discovery’) as Jiang Nan. Also starring are Fala Chen (‘The Undoing’), Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu (‘Creed II’) and Ronny Chieng (‘Crazy Rich Asians’).

The World According to Jeff Goldblum, Season 2- 12th November 2021

Jeff Goldblum is back — and he’s as curious as ever. In this new season of the National Geographic series, Jeff uncovers surprising secrets behind a whole new host of topics. While meeting a new cast of fantastic characters, from passionate fans to experts unveiling life-changing new technology, Jeff discovers just how these topics have shaped the world we live in.

Dopesick – 12th November 2021

From executive producer Danny Strong, and starring and exec produced by Michael Keaton, ‘Dopesick’ examines how one company triggered the worst drug epidemic in American history. The series takes viewers to the epicentre of America’s struggle with opioid addiction, from the boardrooms of Big Pharma to a distressed Virginia mining community to the hallways of the DEA. Defying all the odds, heroes will emerge in an intense and thrilling ride to take down the craven corporate forces behind this national crisis and their allies. The eight-episode limited series is inspired by the New York Times bestselling book by Beth Macy.

Hawkeye – 24th November 2021

Disney+ and Marvel Studios invite you on an unexpected holiday getaway, unwrapping the official trailer and teaser poster for ‘Hawkeye’, a new series set in post-blip New York City. Former Avenger Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a superhero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.

The Choe Show – 24th November 2021

In ‘The Choe Show’, world-renowned artist David Choe turns his eccentric, compassionate and disruptive worldview into a lens for an audience to experience a radical empathy for others. From the walls of his childhood home, Choe takes his guests on a journey where he is a motivational interviewer and compassionate listener. He uses the acts of art and play as Choe and his guests depart on a journey of shared emotional experience. It is through their bonded and authentic connection that Choe is able to bring forth an of-the-moment honesty.

The Beatles: Get Back – 25th November 2021

Directed by three-time Oscar-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson (‘The Lord of the Rings’ trilogy, ‘They Shall Not Grow Old’), ‘The Beatles: Get Back’ takes audiences back in time to the band’s January 1969 recording sessions, which became a pivotal moment in music history. The docuseries showcases The Beatles’ creative process as they attempt to write 14 new songs in preparation for their first live concert in over two years. Faced with a nearly impossible deadline, the strong bonds of friendship shared by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr are put to the test.
