First Trailer Lands For ‘Uncharted’ Movie Starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg

by Dave Elliott

The first trailer for ‘Uncharted’ has landed, the film based on the popular video game franchise, starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg.

Based on one of the best-selling, most critically acclaimed video game series of all time from Naughty Dog, ‘Uncharted’ introduces cinema audiences to a younger version of the street-smart Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and showcases his first treasure hunting adventure with wisecracking partner-in-crime (often literally) Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). In an action-adventure epic that spans the globe, the two go in dangerous pursuit of “the greatest treasure never found” while also tracking clues that may lead to Nathan’s long-lost brother.

Alongside Holland and Wahlberg, the movie stars Sophia Taylor Ali (‘Grey’s Anatomy’) as fellow fortune hunter Chloe Frazer, Tati Gabrielle (‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’, ‘The 100’) as Braddock, and Antonio Banderas as a ruthless treasure hunter, who serves as the main villain.

The movie is directed by Ruben Fleischer (‘Venom’, ‘Zombieland: Double Tap’) with a script from Matt Holloway & Art Marcum (‘Iron Man’, ‘Morbius’) with Rafe Judkins (‘Chuck’, ‘Agents of SHIELD’), who also wrote the story. Charles Roven, Avi Arad, Alex Gartner and Ari Arad produce, with Ruben Fleischer, Robert J. Dohrmann, David Bernad, Tom Holland, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, Neil Druckmann and Evan Wells as exec producers.

‘Uncharted’ premieres on 11th February 2022 in UK cinemas, and on February 18th, 2022 in the USA.
