Sony has released the full official trailer for the hugely anticipated ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, which is set to arrive in cinemas this December.

For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighbourhood hero’s identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.

The official cast list for the movie includes Tom Holland as Peter Parker, Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Zendaya as MJ, Jon Favreau as Happy, Marisa Tomei as May, Benedict Wong as Wong, and Jacob Batalon as Ned… Of course, we also know it features Alfred Molina as Otto Octavius/Doctor Octopus, J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson, Jamie Foxx as Max Dillon/Electro, Willem Dafoe as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin, and Thomas Haden Church as Flint Marko/Sandman because they are all in the trailer. As I’m sure you’re aware, there are many rumours around the film about various other… characters… from previous Spider-man movie iterations showing up too, along with a certain NYC lawyer/vigilante, but we’ll have to wait and see if that happens…

The film is directed by Jon Watts, with a script from Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers, based on characters created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal produce, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, JoAnn Perritano, Rachel O’Connor, Avi Arad, and Matt Tolmach exec producing.

‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ is set to swing onto UK cinema screens from Wednesday, 15th December 2021.
