Article by Adrianna Freedman published in Good Housekeeping on Nov 11, 2025 5:16 PM EST says “The Rookie is slated to return for season 8 on January 6, 2026, and fans are ecstatic to see Nathan (Fillion) re-enter the world of LAPD Mid-Wilshire.” It also claims that “The Rookie will return for season 8 on January 6, 2026, on ABC.” Anyone know when UK broadcast of season 8, presumably on Sky Witness, is scheduled to start?

Any date for season 7 in uk/Ireland?
No date yet. It’s usually 3-4 months behind the US, so with it starting in Jan over there, probably Spring sometime, but officially no idea.
On sky Germany it is releasing on January 10th so hopefully we won’t have to wait 3 months ????

Now tv have told me they will have it from 3rd of june, so im guessing sky should be around the same date.
Yes, it is currently pencilled in for 3rd June (NOW and Sky dates are always the same), but Sky doesn’t “lock” dates until 2 weeks before broadcast, and things sometimes move around before then.
