‘Titans’: DC Series Casts Joseph Morgan, Franka Potente & Lisa Ambalavanar For Season 4
‘Titans‘ has lined up three new characters for Season four, with Joseph Morgan and Franka Potente taking series regulars roles, alongside Lisa Ambalavanar who takes a recurring role.
‘Titans’ follows Dick Grayson, aka the former Robin (Brenton Thwaites), who emerges from the shadows as Nightwing to lead a band of heroes – including Starfire (Anna Diop), Raven (Teagan Croft), Beast Boy (Ryan Potter) and others. The story follows this group of young heroes as they come of age and find belonging.
The fourth season will introduce Joseph Morgan as Sebastian Blood (aka Brother Blood), an introverted man with a strong intelligence and a hidden, darker nature. Morgan is no stranger to blood-soaked characters having played the vampire Klaus in ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and ‘The Originals’.
Franka Potente takes the role of May Bennett (aka Mother Mayhem). A natural leader who always carries the threat of violence with her, she is a predator in human form with an unfettered belief in her mission in the world. Potente recently starred in TNT series ‘Claws’, and previously appeared in the BBC drama ‘Taboo’, BBC America drama ‘Copper’, and FX’s ‘American Horror Story’.
Lisa Ambalavanar takes the recurring role of Jinx, a quick-witted criminal loner and a master of dark magic with a joy for manipulating others and creating chaos while doing it. Ambalavanar has previously starred in BBC teen drama ‘The A List’, and BBC medical soap ‘Doctors’.
The most recent third season of ‘Titans’ has our heroes heading to a new location and will see them reunite with old friends and face new threats… Desperate to leave his mark, Jason Todd (Curran Walters) confronts the Joker once and for all. But when fatal consequences ensue, Dick is forced to step away from the Titans and return to Gotham City.
Season three cast also features Joshua Orpin as Connor/Superboy, Conor Leslie as Donna Troy/Wondergirl, Joshua Orpin as Conner Kent/Superboy, Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall/Hawk and Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger/Dove, along with Damaris Lewis returning as Starfire’s sister, Blackfire.
‘Titans’ is produced by Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television. Based on the characters from DC, the series was developed by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns & Greg Berlanti, with Goldsman, Johns, Berlanti, showrunner Greg Walker, Sarah Schechter and Richard Hatem serving as executive producers.
