‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous’ 5th & Final Season Gets Trailer & July Premiere Date

by Dave Elliott

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous will return for a 5th and final season this July, as Netflix reveal a trailer for the last animated outing to Isla Nublar.

Set against the timeline of the blockbuster film ‘Jurassic World’, ‘Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous’ follows a group of six teenagers trapped at an adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar… Because a kids camp on an island filled with dinosaurs seems like a TOTALLY good idea… Although, completely “on brand” for the owners of the Jurassic Parks…

As we head into season five, the arrival of Kenji’s father, Mr. Kon, renews hope of a rescue for the campers. But as the nefarious plans of Mantah Corp. come into focus and one of the Camp Fam turns on their own, the others must band together if they want to save the dinosaurs and ever make it home.

Voice cast for the series includes Paul-Mikél Williams as Darius, Jenna Ortega as Brooklynn, Ryan Potter as Kenji, Raini Rodriguez as Sammy, Sean Giambrone as Ben, Kausar Mohammed as Yaz, Jameela Jamil as Roxie, and Glen Powell as Dave.

Scott Kreamer (‘Pinky Malinky’) and Aaron Hammersley (‘Star vs. the Forces of Evil’) serve as showrunners and executive producers. The series is executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, Frank Marshall, Kreamer, Hammersley and Lane Lueras. DreamWorks Animation are the animation studio, with Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment as production companies.

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous‘ Season 5 premieres Thursday, 21st July 2022 on Netflix UK and worldwide.
