‘Ghosts’ Season 4 Gets September Premiere Date On BBC One
Get ready to head back to Button House as the critically acclaimed and much-loved sitcom ‘Ghosts‘ returns for Season 4 this September on BBC One and iPlayer.
From the creators and stars of ‘Yonderland’, ‘Bill’, and the original stars of ‘Horrible Histories’, ‘Ghosts’ is set in Button House, home to restless spirits whose lives, or rather, afterlives, are thrown into turmoil when a young couple unexpectedly inherits the peaceful derelict property with plans to turn it into a bustling hotel.
When we return for Series 4, Button House is open for business, well, the gatehouse is. Can Alison and Mike make a success of the humble B&B or will the interfering ghosts once again scupper their plans?
Alongside Alison (Charlotte Ritchie) and Mike (Kiell Smith-Bynoe), the series also features The Captain (Ben Willbond), Lady Button (Martha Howe-Douglas), Thomas Thorne (Mat Baynton), Kitty (Lolly Adefope), Julian (Simon Farnaby), Mary (Katy Wix), Humphrey (Larry Rickard), Pat (Jim Howick), and Robin (Larry Rickard).
“We can’t wait to return to Button House for series 4,” commented Jon Petrie, Director of Comedy at the BBC. “Ghosts is a true jewel in BBC Comedy’s crown, and we’re delighted to be working again with the cast and creators, and Monumental, who never fail to deliver a faultless combination of big laughs and loads of heart.”
‘Ghosts’ is a Monumental Television production in association with Them There for the BBC. The producer is Pat Tookey-Dickson, and the creators serve as Executive Producers alongside Monumental’s Alison Carpenter, Debra Hayward and Alison Owen. Ghosts is distributed by BBC Studios and the Commissioning Editor for the BBC is Gregor Sharp.
‘Ghosts‘ Season 4 premieres Friday, 23rd September 2022 at 8.30pm on BBC One and iPlayer.
