‘The Ex-Wife’: Paramount+ Release “First Look” Images Of Psychological Thriller Starring Tom Mison, Céline Buckens & Janet Montgomery
Paramount+ has released some “first look” images of ‘The Ex-Wife‘, a four-part psychological thriller based on the bestselling novel by Jess Ryder, starring Tom Mison (‘Sleepy Hollow’, ‘SEE’, ‘Watchmen’), Céline Buckens (‘Showtrial’, ‘Warrior’) & Janet Montgomery (‘New Amsterdam’), which premieres this October on the streaming service.
Tasha (Buckens) is living the dream: she has the perfect house, a loving husband, Jack (Mison), and a beautiful little girl. But there’s one large blot on Tasha’s marital landscape, her husband’s ex-wife, Jen (Montgomery), won’t leave them alone and seems intent on staying in the picture. When Tasha returns home one day to find her life turned upside down, she realises that the dream she is living may be about to turn into a nightmare.
Alongside Mison, Buckens, and Montgomery, Jordan Stephens (‘Feel Good’ and the “Rizzle” half of hip-hop duo Rizzle Kicks) also stars in the series.
‘The Ex-Wife’ screenplay is written by ‘Downton Abbey’ star Catherine Steadman, who will also serve as Executive Producer on the series. Joining Steadman as Executive Producers are Mike Benson for Clapperboard, Giuliano Papadia and Chiara Cardoso for BlackBox Multimedia, Olivia Pahl and Herbert L. Kloiber for Night Train Media and the novel’s author Jess Ryder. Andy Morgan (‘Tin Star’, ‘The Madame Blanc Mysteries’) is Producer and Brian O’Malley (‘The Lodgers’, ‘That Dirty Black Bag’) is directing the series.
Filming for The Ex-Wife wrapped earlier in the year, and it will be exclusively available on Paramount+ UK, which recently launched to consumers in the UK and Ireland back in June 2022. All3Media International is the global partner on the series outside of the UK and Ireland.
