TV Premiere Highlights Coming To Disney+ UK In November 2022

November might be after Halloween, but Disney+ is still bringing the spooky(ish) as ‘What We Do In The Shadows’ lands exclusively on the streaming service. There is more comedy with new Hulu series ‘Reboot’, and Tim Allen returns as Santa in a brand new series based on his movies. We also have some new docuseries starring David Beckham and Chris Hemsworth, plus a number of exclusive films, including ‘Disenchanted’. Here are the highlights from Disney+ UK in November 2022.

What We Do In The Shadows, Seasons 3 & 4 – 2nd November 2022 (Series)

A look into the daily lives of four vampires who’ve been together for hundreds of years; after a visit from their dark lord and leader, they’re reminded of their purpose in coming to New York City over a century ago. Another show moved from its linear broadcaster (the BBC in this case) to Disney+ UK exclusively.

Reboot, Season 1 – 2nd November 2022 (Series)

An early 2000s family sitcom is rebooted, and the dysfunctional cast must deal with their unresolved issues in today’s fast-changing world. Calum Worthy, Johnny Knoxville, Judy Greer, Keegan-Michael Key, Krista Marie Yu, Paul Reiser, and Rachel Bloom star.

See How They Run – 2nd November 2022 (Film)

Welcome to the greatest murder ever staged! It is the West End of London in the 1950s, and plans for a movie version of a smash-hit play have come to an abrupt halt after a pivotal member of the crew is murdered. When world-weary Inspector Stoppard (Sam Rockwell) and his eager rookie sidekick, Constable Stalker (Saoirse Ronan), take on the case, the two find themselves thrown into a puzzling whodunit within the glamorously sordid theatre underground. The more they investigate the mysterious homicide, the more they realize that they do so at their own peril.

Marvel Studios’ Assembled: The Making of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law – 3rd November 2022 (Episode)

Save Our Squad With David Beckham, Season 1 – 9th November 2022 (Series)

David Beckham is coming home. Over the course of a season, David joins the Westward Boys, an East London club playing in the league where it all began for him as a boy – the Echo Premier League. Westward haven’t won a game all season, and the threat of being relegated from the league looms large. David has a mammoth task at hand – will he be able to save their squad?

Limitless With Chris Hemsworth, Season 1 – 16th November 2022 (Series)

Chris Hemsworth is on an epic mission to discover how to live better for longer. With the help of world-class experts, family and friends, he’s embarking on a series of immense challenges to push himself to new limits and stop the diseases of old age before they take hold. Chris will discover how we all can unlock our potential to stay fitter, healthier and happier throughout our lives.

Disenchanted – 16th November 2022 (Film)

It’s been 15 years since Giselle and Robert got married, but Giselle has since grown disillusioned with life in the city. They decide to move their growing family to the sleepy suburban community of Monroeville in search of a more fairytale life – but it isn’t the quick fix she hoped for. Suburbia has a whole new set of rules, plus a local queen bee, Malvina Monroe, who makes Giselle feel more out of place than ever. Frustrated that her happily ever after hasn’t been so easy to find, she turns to the magic of Andalasia for help, accidentally transforming the entire town into a real-life fairytale and placing her family’s future happiness in jeopardy. Now, Giselle is in a race against time to reverse the spell and determine what happily ever after truly means to her and her family.

Tell Me Lies, Season 1 – 16th November 2022 (Series)

‘Tell Me Lies’ follows a tumultuous but intoxicating relationship as it unfolds over the course of 8 years. When Lucy Albright (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco (Jackson White) meet at college, they are at that formative age when seemingly mundane choices lead the way to irrevocable consequences. Although their relationship begins like any typical campus romance, they quickly fall into an addictive entanglement that will permanently alter not only their lives, but the lives of everyone around them.

The Santa Clauses, Season 1 – 16th November 2022 (Series)

Tim Allen returns to the role of Scott Calvin, who is on the brink of his 65th birthday and realises that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s starting to lose a step in his Santa duties, and more importantly, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his two kids who have grown up at the Pole. With a lot of elves, children, and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in a life south of the pole.

Willow, Season 1 – 30th November 2022 (Series)

The new series, which is Lucasfilm’s first venture into non-Star Wars storytelling since 2015, takes place years after the events of the original ‘Willow’ film. It introduces all-new characters to the enchanted realm of fairy queens and two-headed Eborsisk monsters, and welcomes back its namesake hero, Willow Ufgood, performed once again by the unmatchable Warwick Davis.

The Patient – 30th November 2022 (Series)

‘The Patient’ is a psychological thriller about a therapist, “Alan Strauss” (Steve Carell), who’s held prisoner by a patient, “Sam Fortner” (Domhnall Gleeson), who reveals himself to be a serial killer. Sam has an unusual therapeutic demand for Alan: curb his homicidal urges. In order to survive, Alan must unwind Sam’s disturbed mind and stop him from killing again – but Sam refuses to address critical topics. Alone in captivity, Alan excavates his own past through memories of his old therapist, and grapples with waves of his own repressed troubles, including the recent death of his wife, and the painful estrangement from his religious son. Over the course of his imprisonment, Alan uncovers not only how deep Sam’s compulsion runs, but also how much work he has to do to repair the rift in his own family. With time running out, Alan fights desperately to stop Sam before Alan becomes complicit in Sam’s murders – or worse, becomes a target himself.

Other Notable Additions

Outside of the various premieres above, Season 33 of The Simpsons, which previously aired on Sky, will drop onto Disney+ UK from 2nd November 2022. Also recently added is Damages, which popped up out of nowhere to stream and is available now. Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 are also both streaming exclusively on Disney+ UK from Wednesday, 26th October 2022.
