‘Treason’: Netflix Sets December Premiere For Limited Series From ‘Bridge of Spies’ Writer Starring Charlie Cox.

This Christmas it is the season for Treason on Netflix as they announce a limited series from the writer of ‘Bridge of Spies’ starring ‘Daredevil’s Charlie Cox.

The drama follows Adam Lawrence (Cox), trained and groomed by MI6, whose career seems set. But when the past catches up with him in the form of Kara, a Russian spy with whom he shares a complicated past, he is forced to question everything and everyone in his life. A triangular relationship forms between Kara, Adam and his wife, Maddy; three people who are trying to expose each other’s secrets, navigate political and diplomatic relationships, whilst hanging onto their personal lives, and those they love most.

The five-episode series also stars Olga Kurylenko (‘Black Widow’), Oona Chaplin (‘Taboo’, ‘Game of Thrones’), Ciarán Hinds (‘Game of Thrones’) and Tracy Ifeachor (‘The Originals’).

The drama is created, written and exec produced by Matt Charman (‘Bridge of Spies’). Louise Hooper (‘The Sandman’, ‘The Witcher’) and Sarah O’Gorman (‘The Witcher’, ‘The Last Kingdom’) direct. Foz Allan and Matt Charman also exec produce.

Treason‘ premieres Boxing Day (Monday, 26th December 2022) on Netflix UK and worldwide.
