Disney+ UK Premieres ‘The Resident’ Season 6 & ‘Mayans MC’ Season 4 Today!

Continuing Disney+ UK’s current “interesting” strategy of premiering tv shows without telling anyone, today both ‘The Resident‘ Season 6 & ‘Mayans MC‘ Season 4 have popped up on the streaming service.

The Resident’ continues to shine a light on the daily heroism of the US healthcare workers. The provocative medical drama follows the doctors and nurses at Chastain Memorial Hospital as they face personal and professional challenges and fight for their patients’ health.

Matt Czuchry (‘Gilmore Girls’, ‘The Good Wife’) leads the cast as Dr Conrad Hawkins, alongside Manish Dayal (‘Halt and Catch Fire’), Bruce Greenwood (‘The People v. O.J.’, ‘Mad Men’), Malcolm-Jamal Warner (‘The People v. O.J.’), and Jane Leeves (‘Frasier’). This season also sees Andrew McCarthy return in a series regular role as pediatric surgeon Ian Sullivan.

‘Mayans M.C’ follows the life of Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes, a member of the Mayans M.C. charter on the Cali/Mexi border. EZ, his brother Angel and the rest of the Santo Padre M.C. face retaliation from other charters after a failed attempt to align under one King. Meanwhile, EZ and Angel have grown distant from their father Felipe (Edward James Olmos) after a heart-wrenching betrayal.

The series stars Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes, Edward James Olmos, Michael Irby, Raoul Max Trujillo, Richard Cabral, Emilio Rivera, Sarah Bolger and Sulem Calderon.

‘Mayans’ previously aired on the BBC, but (as with a lot of shows this year) Disney reclaimed the rights to the drama following the end of the BBC/FX carriage deal.

The whole of ‘Mayans MC‘ Season 4, and episodes 1-3 of ‘The Resident‘ Season 6 are available from today on Disney+ UK.
