Netflix has released a trailer for ‘Treason‘, the upcoming limited series starring Daredevil’s Charlie Cox from ‘Bridge of Spies’ writer Matt Charman which premieres this December on the streaming service.
Trained and groomed by MI6, Adam Lawrence’s career seems set. But when the past catches up with him in the form of Kara, a Russian spy with whom he shares a complicated past, he is forced to question everything and everyone in his life. A triangular relationship forms between Kara, Adam and his wife, Maddy; three people who are trying to expose each other’s secrets, navigate political and diplomatic relationships, whilst hanging onto their personal lives, and those they love most.
The drama stars Charlie Cox (‘Daredevil’) alongside Olga Kurylenko (‘Black Widow’), Oona Chaplin (‘Game of Thrones’), Ciarán Hinds (‘Belfast’, ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’), and Tracy Ifeachor (‘The Originals’, ‘Showtrial’).
The five-episode limited series is created and written by Matt Charman (‘Bridge of Spies’, ‘Black Work’, ‘Our Zoo’), who also produces alongside Foz Allan (‘Riviera’, ‘Jekyll and Hyde’) and Valery Ryan (‘Prime Suspect’, ‘Cracker’).
‘Treason‘ premieres Boxing Day (26th December 2022) on Netflix UK and worldwide.
