‘Grace’: ITV Sets March Premiere Date For Season 3 Of John Simm/Richie Campbell Drama

ITV has set a March premiere date for the return of John Simm and Richie Campbell in Season 3 of Grace.

The drama stars Simm as tenacious Brighton-based Detective Superintendent Roy Grace, based on the bestselling author Peter James’ award-winning novels. Alongside Simm, the series stars Campbell as DS Glenn Branson, Zoë Tapper as Cleo Morey and Craig Parkinson as DS Norman Potting.

Each season of the drama consists of three feature-length films, each based on a novel, with the third season covering the books Dead Like You, Dead Mans Grip and Not Dead Yet. ‘Whitechapel’ creators Ben Court and Caroline Ip wrote episodes one and three, and Ed Whitmore (‘Manhunt’, ‘Silent Witness’) wrote episode two.

In addition to season three launching this month, it was announced in January that ‘Grace’ would return for a 4th Season, which would begin shooting in April 2023. Season 4 will also be expanded to four feature-length films inspired by the novels Dead Man’s Time, Want You Dead, You Are Dead, and Love You Dead.

‘Grace’ is a co-production between Tall Story Pictures, part of ITV Studios, and Vaudeville Productions. Executive producer for Tall Story Pictures is Patrick Schweitzer, with Andrew O’Connor and Paul Sandler for Vaudeville Productions. Peter James also executive produces. ITV Drama Commissioner, Huw Kennair Jones, oversees production from ITV’s perspective.

‘Grace‘ Season 3 premieres Sunday 19th March 2023 at 8pm on ITV. The series airs on Britbox in the USA.
