UPDATE: 27/03/24 – Annoyingly, Sky has made a late change and ‘The Rookie‘ Season 6 now will not air until July 2024 on Sky Witness and NOW…

The Rookie is back on patrol for its 6th Season in the UK, as streaming service NOW and Sky Witness reveal an April premiere date for the cop drama.

‘The Rookie’ stars Nathan Fillion as John Nolan, the oldest rookie in the LAPD, who has used his life experience, determination and sense of humour to keep up with rookies 20 years his junior. Nolan now faces his biggest challenge as a police officer when he must come to terms with the choices he has made in pursuit of the truth.

As we return for Season 6, in the aftermath of the assaults in the explosive season five finale, the team must now try to understand why they were targeted and if there is a bigger plan in place. Meanwhile, Nolan must survive his last shift before his wedding to Bailey.

Alongside Fillion, ‘The Rookie’ stars Mekia Cox as Nyla Harper, Eric Winter as Tim Bradford, Alyssa Diaz as Angela, Richard T. Jones as Sergeant Wade Grey, Melissa O’Neil as Lucy Chen, Tru Valentino as Aaron Thorsen, Jenna Dewan as Bailey Nune, Lisseth Chavez as Celina Juarez, and Shawn Ashmore as Wesley Evers.

‘The Rookie’ is produced by Entertainment One (eOne), which is the lead studio and international distributor (that is why the show airs on Sky Witness and not Disney+ in the UK). Disney’s ABC Signature are co-producers.

The Rookie‘ Season 6 premieres Monday, 22nd April 2024 on Sky Witness and streaming service NOW in the UK.
