The BBC has set an October UK premiere date for Season 3 of the hit drama ‘Industry‘, which sees Kit Harington join the cast.
Industry’s high-octane third season will plunge viewers back into the unrelenting world of high finance as it follows a group of young bankers forging their identities within the pressure cooker environment and sex and drug-fuelled blitz of international bank Pierpoint & Co’s London office.
Kit Harington (Game of Thrones, Gunpowder) joins the cast as Henry Muck, the CEO and Founder of Lumi, an exciting green tech energy company about to go public. In season three, as Pierpoint looks to the future and takes a big bet on ethical investing, the desk find themselves front and centre in the splashy IPO of Lumi in a story that runs all the way to the very top of finance, media and government.
Industry’s returning cast includes Myha’la, Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, Ken Leung, Conor MacNeill, Sagar Radia, Indy Lewis, Adam Levy, Sarah Parish, Trevor White, Elena Saurel and Irfan Shamji. They are joined by new cast members Kit Harington as Henry Muck, Sarah Goldberg as Petra Koenig, Miriam Petche as Sweetpea Golightly, Andrew Havill as Lord Norton, Roger Barclay as Otto Mostyn, Fady Elsayed as Ali El Mansour, and Fiona Button as Denise Oldroyd.
The eight-episode third season is written, created and executive produced by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, who also direct this season’s final two episodes. It is executive produced by Jane Tranter, Kate Crowther and Ryan Rasmussen for Bad Wolf, and Rebecca Ferguson for the BBC. ‘Industry’ is a Bad Wolf production for the BBC and HBO.
‘Industry‘ Season 3 premieres Tuesday, 1st October 2024 in the UK. All eight episodes will be available on BBC iPlayer from 6am, with the BBC One transmission beginning at 10:40pm that night.
