Sky has released the official trailer for the Emmy-winning exclusive series ‘The White Lotus‘, which is set to premiere this February on Sky and streaming service NOW in the UK.
The social satire returns once again, this time at an exclusive Thai resort, and follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the span of a week.
The series stars Leslie Bibb as “Kate”, Carrie Coon as “Laurie”, and Michelle Monaghan as “Jaclyn”, three long-time friends on a girls’ trip after not having seen each other for a while; Walton Goggins as “Rick Hatchett”, a rugged man with a chip on his shoulder, travelling with his free-spirited girlfriend Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood); Sarah Catherine Hook as “Piper Ratliff”, a college senior and a religious studies major, who is middle child to wealthy businessman Timothy (Jason Isaacs) and Victoria Ratliff (Parker Posey); Sam Nivola plays “Lochlan Ratliff”, Timothy and Victoria youngest, a high school senior, and Patrick Schwarzenegger plays “Saxon Ratliff”, the eldest son, who works for his father’s successful company.
Lek Patravadi is “Sritala”, one of the owners of The White Lotus and the visionary behind its wellness program, with Natasha Rothwell as “Belinda”, the spa manager. Lalisa Manobal plays “Mook”, one of the health mentors for guests staying at The White Lotus, whilst Tayme Thapthimthong plays “Gaitok”, a security guard at The White Lotus.
Additional cast includes Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaraviius, Christian Friedel, Scott Glenn, Dom Hetrakul, Julian Kostov, Charlotte Le Bon, Morgana O’Reilly, and Shalini Peiris.
The first instalment, which premiered in July 2021, was set in Hawaii and received 20 Emmy nominations across 13 categories and ten wins, the most wins of any program that year including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series. The second instalment, which premiered in December 2022, was set in Sicily and garnered 23 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, and five wins.
The series is created, written, and directed by Mike White. White, David Bernad, and Mark Kamine serve as executive producers.
‘The White Lotus‘ Season 3 premieres Monday, 17 February 2025 on Sky and streaming service NOW. The show will premiere on Feb 16, 2025, on HBO and streaming on Max in the USA.
