‘Solar Opposites’ To End With Season 6

by Dave Elliott

Some sad news for fans of the wonderfully wacky Solar Opposites‘, as Hulu announces the adult animated series set to end with the upcoming 6th Season later this year.

The show centres around a team of four aliens who escape their exploding home world only to crash land into a move-in-ready home in suburban America. They are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo and Yumyulack only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry and Jesse love humans and all their TV, junk food and fun stuff. Their mission: protect the Pupa, a living supercomputer that will one day evolve into its true form, consume them and terraform the Earth.

In season six, we witness the “wild chaos of this unhinged alien family as they get into hilarious mischief, all while the final chapter of an epic drama unfolds for the shrunken people they’ve imprisoned in their Wall. As the Solar Opposites navigate their unforgettable farewell, expect laugh-out-loud surprises at every turn.”

The series stars Dan Stevens as Korvo, Sean Giambrone as Yumyulack, Mary Mack as Jesse, and Thomas Middleditch as Terry. They are joined by guest voices  Tiffany Haddish, Kieran Culkin, Christina Hendricks, Ken Marino, Alfred Molina, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell, and Beck Bennett.

‘Solar Opposites’ is executive produced by Mike McMahan and Josh Bycel. The series is produced by 20th Television Animation.

Solar Opposites‘ Season 6 does not yet have a premiere date but is expected to land in the Autumn on Hulu in the USA and on Disney+ in the UK. If you want to keep track of these or any other shows, you can add them via our Never Miss system, and you’ll be notified when it gets a UK premiere date.
