‘The Rookie’ Season 7 Gets A June UK Premere Date On Sky Witness

by Dave Elliott

Sky has set a June premiere date for The Rookie Season 7, which sees Nathan Fillion and gang finally back on patrol in the UK.

John Nolan, the oldest rookie in the LAPD, has used his life experience, determination and sense of humour to keep up with fellow officers 20 years his junior. Nearing the end of his training, Nolan now faces his biggest challenge as a police officer when he must come to terms with the choices he has made in pursuit of the truth.

In season seven, recovering from a gunshot wound and feeling the effects of his age, John and the team welcome two new rookies and continue the hunt for two dangerous inmates with very personal vendettas following their prison escape.

The Rookie stars Nathan Fillion as John Nolan, Mekia Cox as Nyla Harper, Alyssa Diaz as Angela Lopez, Richard T. Jones as Sergeant Wade Grey, Melissa O’Neil as Lucy Chen, Eric Winter as Tim Bradford, Jenna Dewan as Bailey Nune, Shawn Ashmore as Wesley Evers, and Lisseth Chavez as Celina Juarez.

Those two new rookies we mentioned are Deric Augustine (Godfather of Harlem, All American) as Miles Penn and Patrick Keleher (The Endgame) as Seth Ridley.

‘The Rookie’ is produced by Lionsgate Television, which is the lead studio and international distributor (that is why the show airs on Sky Witness and not Disney+ in the UK). Disney’s ABC Signature are co-producers.

‘The Rookie‘ Season 7 premieres Tuesday, 3rd June 2025 at 9pm on Sky Witness and streaming service NOW in the UK.

Do we know if the whole season will be released on 3rd June or will it be episode by episode over a period of time? Thanks

The article states that part of the reason for the scheduling change for season 7 is due to it only being 10 episodes due to the writers strike.
That was the case for season 6 being 10 episodes and delayed but season 7 has 18 episodes which is almost normal.

great to hear it is finally coming soon though!!! :D

Might want to edit the bottom part of the article, as that was last year.

Oops. Yes, thanks! Copied the credits over from last year, and didn’t check them…
