Fans attending the Prime Video panel at CCXP México were treated to a blood-soaked, satirical surprise, as the cast of ‘The Boys’ spin-off ‘Gen V‘ unveiled the first footage from the show’s highly anticipated second season, along with an official premiere date.
Cast members Jaz Sinclair (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Lizze Broadway (The Rookie), London Thor (You), and Derek Luh (Shining Vale) were on hand at the Mexico City event to debut the first look and tease what’s coming when classes resume at the chaotic Godolkin University.
What to Expect in Season 2
As Homelander tightens his grip on America, things at Godolkin are anything but stable. The mysterious new dean, Cipher, introduces a new curriculum aimed at making students more powerful than ever, but at what cost?
Cate and Sam are now being hailed as heroes, while Marie, Jordan, and Emma struggle to return to anything resembling a normal campus life after the traumatic events of Season 1. But parties and study sessions are the least of their concerns as tensions between humans and supes spiral into open conflict.
Amidst the growing chaos, the group discovers a secret program buried deep in the school’s history… one that could change everything. And Marie may be more deeply connected to it than she ever expected.
Returning for Season 2 are Jaz Sinclair as Marie Moreau, Lizze Broadway as Emma Meyer, Maddie Phillips (Teenage Bounty Hunters) as Cate Dunlap, London Thor and Derek Luh as Jordan Li, Asa Germann (Dahmer) as Sam Riordan, and Sean Patrick Thomas (The District) as Polarity. They’re joined by Hamish Linklater (Midnight Mass) as the enigmatic new dean, Cipher.
