‘Upload’ Season 4: Prime Video Reveals Premiere Date & First Look At Final Chapter

Prime Video is heading back to Lakeview one last time, as it sets a premiere date and unveils first-look photos for the fourth and final season of the sci-fi comedy ‘Upload‘.

From Emmy-winning writer Greg Daniels (The Office, Parks and Recreation, King of the Hill), ‘Upload‘ is set in a technologically advanced future where holographic phones, self-driving vehicles, AI assistance, and 3D food printers are standard. And when you die? You don’t have to… not really. Instead, you can be “uploaded” to a luxurious digital afterlife… as long as you can afford the data plan.

Starring Robbie Amell (The Flash, Code 8) as Nathan, the series also features Andy Allo (Pitch Perfect 3) as Nora, Kevin Bigley (The Moodys) as Luke, Allegra Edwards (Briarpatch) as Ingrid, Zainab Johnson (100 Humans) as Aleesha, and Owen Daniels (Space Force) as the ever-helpful A.I. Guy.

The fourth season will serve as a four-part “series finale event,” premiering Sunday, 25th August 2025 on Prime Video worldwide. According to the official synopsis:

“In the four-part series finale event, sentient AI rapidly turns evil, threatening to wipe out Lakeview (and the world!). On top of greedy executives, lingering mysteries, plus heartbreak in VR and IRL, our characters are tested like never before. The only way they can get through it all and save humanity from deletion is by teaming up one last time.”

Season three ended on a major cliffhanger (SPOILER AHEAD!), with two versions of Nathan, one in a clone body in the real world and one in Lakeview, both captured in the virtual Grey Market. Just before being taken, one of them manages to call out to friends in the real world… but the message cuts out before revealing which Nathan survived.

“When I conceived Upload many years ago, I had the story arced out over four seasons, so I am thrilled to make the ending the fans deserve and the characters and creative team have been working towards,” said creator Greg Daniels.

‘Upload’ is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, with Greg Daniels, Howard Klein, and Jeff Blitz serving as executive producers.
