Paramount+ has announced that its hit original drama ‘Tulsa King’ will return for its highly anticipated third season this September, with Oscar® nominee Sylvester Stallone (Rocky, The Expendables) once again leading the cast.
The Taylor Sheridan-created series continues to be a powerhouse for the streamer, having been the number one global Paramount+ original series in 2024 and ranking among the top ten original series across all streaming platforms in the fourth quarter of last year. Season two opened with an impressive 21.1 million global viewers, making it the most-watched premiere in Paramount+ history, and racked up 159 million total views, a staggering 894% increase over the previous season.
Joining Stallone for the new season are returning cast members Martin Starr (Silicon Valley), Jay Will (Mayor of Kingstown), Annabella Sciorra (The Sopranos), Neal McDonough (Yellowstone), Robert Patrick (Peacemaker), Beau Knapp (The Peripheral), Bella Heathcote (Pieces of Her), Chris Caldovino (Boardwalk Empire), McKenna Quigley Harrington, Mike “Cash Flo” Walden, Kevin Pollak (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Vincent Piazza (Boardwalk Empire), Frank Grillo (Kingdom), Michael Beach (Mayor of Kingstown) and James Russo (Django Unchained), with Garrett Hedlund (Mudbound) and Dana Delany (Desperate Housewives).
Season three also introduces Samuel L. Jackson (Secret Invasion) as Russell Lee Washington Jr., ahead of his leading role in the recently greenlit spin-off ‘Nola King’.
This season sees Dwight expanding his empire, but with growth comes new dangers. He finds himself pitted against the Dunmires, a formidable old-money family who play by their own ruthless rules, forcing him to fight harder than ever to protect both his business and his loved ones.
Produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, the series is executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, Sylvester Stallone, Dave Erickson (who also serves as showrunner), David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Braden Aftergood, Jim McKay, Sheri Elwood, Ildy Modrovich and Keith Cox.
