Good news for fans of fashion, romance, and questionable workplace boundaries. ‘Emily In Paris’ has officially been renewed for a sixth season on Netflix, with Emily Cooper’s European adventure set to continue into 2026.
The renewal lands hot on the heels of Season 5’s strong performance, which saw the series rack up huge global viewing figures and once again dominate the Netflix Top 10 in dozens of countries. Clearly, viewers are still more than happy to follow Emily wherever her heels, and heart, take her next.
Series creator Darren Star has already teased that while the show may continue to explore new destinations, Paris remains the beating heart of the story. Speaking at a press conference in December, Star said: “There’s a lot of places I’d love to visit. But I think the show organically [follows] the storyline. The show is Emily in Paris. It’s never going to permanently leave its home base. But if I can take the audience on a journey somewhere else, I would love that … [It’s] fun to think about.”
Season 5 saw Emily’s world expand once again as business took her to Rome, where she was tasked with launching an Agence Grateau office while navigating a new romance with fashion heir Marcello Muratori. Starring Lily Collins (Shadow and Bone) as the endlessly optimistic marketing exec, the season balanced Italian escapades with unresolved ties back in France, and left several relationships hanging delicately in the balance.
Alongside Collins, the ensemble includes Ashley Park (Only Murders in the Building) as Emily’s best friend Mindy, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Call My Agent!) as formidable boss Sylvie, Lucien Laviscount (Snatch) as Alfie, Paul Forman (Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore) as Nicolas de Léon, and Eugenio Franceschini (The Lie) as Marcello.
By the end of Season 5, Emily had once again chosen career over romance, turning down Marcello’s offer of a quieter life in Italy. Meanwhile, Mindy accepted a surprise proposal, Alfie threw emotional grenades into that decision, and Emily’s ex Gabriel floated the possibility of a Greek detour that could change everything. In short, the table is very much set for Season 6 chaos.
‘Emily In Paris’ Season 6 is expected to arrive sometime in 2026. If you want to keep track of this or any other shows, you can add them via our Never Miss system, and you’ll be notified when it gets a UK premiere date. Visit Never Miss.
