Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed lands on Apple TV this May, bringing a darkly comic thriller that mixes suburban paranoia with murder, blackmail and youth football politics.
Apple has unveiled a first look at the half-hour series during its 2026 Apple TV Press Day, confirming the show will launch globally with a two-episode premiere before rolling out weekly.
‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’ stars Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black, The Monkey) as Paula, a newly divorced mum whose already chaotic life spirals when she becomes convinced she has witnessed a serious crime. Juggling a custody battle and a full-blown identity crisis, Paula starts pulling on threads that lead her deep into a web of blackmail, murder and unsettling secrets, all while trying to keep her family from falling apart.
She is joined by Jake Johnson (Mythic Quest, New Girl), alongside Brandon Flynn (13 Reasons Why), Murray Bartlett (The Last of Us, The White Lotus), Jessy Hodges (Barry), Jon Michael Hill (Elementary), Charlie Hall (The Sex Lives of College Girls), Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg (Charmed, Invasion), Nola Wallace (The Strangers: Chapter 2), and Dolly De Leon (Nine Perfect Strangers, Triangle of Sadness).
The series comes from creator and showrunner David J. Rosen (Sugar, Hunters), with David Gordon Green (The Righteous Gemstones, Mythic Quest) directing and executive producing. It is produced by Apple Studios and Counterpart Studios, with additional executive producers Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon for Genre Films, and Bard Dorros for Anonymous Content.
Blending pitch-black comedy with thriller tension, ‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’ looks set to sit comfortably alongside Apple TV’s growing slate of genre-bending originals.
‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’ premieres Wednesday, 20th May 2026 on Apple TV.
