Prime Video Drops First Teaser For ‘Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War’

by Dave Elliott

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War is bringing John Krasinski (A Quiet Place), Wendell Pierce (The Wire), and Michael Kelly (House of Cards) back together for one last mission, as Prime Video has unveiled the first teaser for the feature-length follow-up to the hit spy series.

After four seasons on Prime Video, the story now shifts from episodic action to a full-blown movie event, with Jack Ryan being dragged back into the world of espionage for what is being billed as his most personal and dangerous mission yet. The film keeps the global scale and political intrigue that made the series such a hit, whilst raising the stakes with a real-time conspiracy thriller setup.

Joining the returning cast is Sienna Miller (Anatomy of a Scandal) as MI6 officer Emma Marlowe, who teams up with Jack as he takes on a rogue black-ops unit and a conspiracy that appears to know his team’s every move. Returning allies Mike November and James Greer are also back in the mix, which should be very welcome news for fans of the original run.

The film is directed by Andrew Bernstein, with a screenplay by Aaron Rabin and John Krasinski, from a story by Noah Oppenheim and Krasinski, based on characters created by Tom Clancy. The wider cast also includes Max Beesley (Hijack), JJ Feild (Foundation), Douglas Hodge (The Great), Betty Gabriel (Get Out), and Miller.

Given how popular ‘Jack Ryan’ was as a series, turning it into a feature film feels like a pretty logical next step for Prime Video. The teaser leans into the ticking-clock tension, international scale, and bruising action, suggesting this is aiming to go out with a bang rather than a polite handshake and a debrief.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War’ premieres Wednesday, 20th May 2026 on Prime Video.
