‘Clarkson’s Farm’ Season 5 Trailer Sees Jeremy Clarkson Rushed To Hospital Amid More Diddly Squat Drama

by Dave Elliott

Prime Video has released the trailer for Clarkson’s Farm Season 5, and it looks like life at Diddly Squat is about to be as chaotic, stressful, muddy, and occasionally medically alarming as ever.

The hit factual entertainment series returns this June, once again following Jeremy Clarkson as he attempts to run his Cotswolds farm with the help, hindrance, and deeply unimpressed facial expressions of Kaleb Cooper, Charlie Ireland, Gerald Cooper, Lisa Hogan, and the rest of the Diddly Squat team.

The new trailer shows Clarkson being blue-lighted to hospital after suffering a heart scare, following the real-life health issue he wrote about in 2024. At the time, Clarkson revealed he had undergone a procedure to fit a stent after experiencing chest tightness and feeling clammy, with doctors discovering a blocked artery.

In the trailer, Clarkson is later seen explaining the situation to Kaleb, saying: “My heart wasn’t getting any blood.”

That is not the only drama heading for the farm this season. Season 5 also looks set to feature a tuberculosis outbreak at Diddly Squat, a Christmas grotto, Clarkson attending a farming protest in London, and Kaleb being somewhat less than lightning-fast when his partner goes into labour. So, business as usual, then.

The series has become one of Prime Video’s biggest unscripted hits, with audiences tuning in not just for Clarkson’s attempts to master farming, but also for the genuinely fascinating look at the pressures facing British farmers. Beneath all the bickering, broken machinery, planning rows, weather chaos, and Kaleb’s exasperation, the show has often done a surprisingly effective job of explaining just how difficult modern farming can be.

Prime Video has not officially confirmed the future of ‘Clarkson’s Farm’ beyond Season 5, although Clarkson has previously said that Season 6 is happening, and has hinted that he already has ideas which could potentially take the show even further.

“We’ll definitely do six – Amazon want to [do season six] and I want to. I’ve got a good idea for six,” Clarkson told The Sun earlier this year. “I said I’ll stop doing them when there are no more ideas. But I’ve got two quite good ones, so we’ll do six and then we’ll see.”

Clarkson’s Farm’ Season 5 premieres Wednesday, 3rd June 2026 on Prime Video, with the first four episodes landing at launch. The remaining episodes will be released in two-episode batches on Wednesday, 10th June 2026 and Wednesday, 17th June 2026.
