FX’s ‘The Bear’ Serves Up Trailer For Fifth & Final Season On Disney+ UK This June

by Dave Elliott

FX’s The Bear is preparing to fire up the kitchen one last time, as Disney+ UK releases the trailer for the fifth and final season of the acclaimed culinary drama, which lands this June.

The new season picks up the morning after Sydney Adamu, Richard “Richie” Jerimovich and Natalie “Sugar” Berzatto discover that Head Chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto has quit the food industry, leaving the restaurant in their hands. Which, given the general stress levels of ‘The Bear’, is not exactly the sort of workplace handover you’d want to find waiting for you before your first coffee…

With no money, the threat of a sale, and a torrential storm standing in their way, the new partners have to pull together with the rest of the team for one last service, hoping they can finally earn that elusive Michelin star. Ultimately, the final season looks set to explore whether what makes a restaurant “perfect” is really the food, or the people trying to survive making it.

The series stars Jeremy Allen White (Shameless, The Iron Claw) as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, Ayo Edebiri (Bottoms, Abbott Elementary) as Sydney Adamu, Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Andor, The Punisher) as Richard “Richie” Jerimovich, and Abby Elliott (Saturday Night Live, Indebted) as Natalie “Sugar” Berzatto. The cast also includes Lionel Boyce (Hap and Leonard), Liza Colón-Zayas (In Treatment, The Woman in the Window) and Matty Matheson, with Ricky Staffieri, Oliver Platt (Chicago Med, The West Wing), Will Poulter (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Dopesick) and Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween, Everything Everywhere All at Once) in recurring roles.

Created by Christopher Storer, ‘The Bear’ has become one of FX’s biggest critical hits, picking up more than 100 major awards to date, including 21 Primetime Emmys, alongside more than 200 additional nominations. The half-hour series is executive produced by Storer, Josh Senior, Cooper Wehde, Tyson Bidner, Matty Matheson, Hiro Murai and Rene Gube, with Courtney Storer serving as culinary producer. The series is produced by FX Productions and streams on Hulu in the US, and Disney+ internationally.

Alongside the new season, Disney+ also has seasons one to four of ‘The Bear’ available to stream, along with FX’s ‘Gary’, the special flashback episode.

The Bear’ Season 5 premieres Friday, 26th June 2026 on Disney+ UK, with all eight episodes available at launch.
