Sky has added another face to the cast of ‘SNL UK‘ Season 2, with Freddie Meredith (Such Brave Girls, Big Boys) joining the sketch comedy series ahead of its September return on Sky and NOW.
Meredith arrives fresh from his Edinburgh Fringe debut with Need a Light?, which was nominated for the Best Newcomer Award. He joins all 11 returning cast members from the first season of ‘SNL UK’.
Asked why he wanted to join the show, Meredith said: “It’s a no brainer, it’s the most iconic comedy show and it looks like so much fun. It will undoubtedly inform everything I do for the rest of my career and I can’t wait for the experience. It’s SNL!!!”
Meredith trained at drama school and began his career working professionally in theatre before moving increasingly into comedy, stand-up and online sketches.
As previously announced, Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park, Wicked) will host the Season 2 opener, with CMAT appearing as the musical guest. The first six episodes will air across September and October, with additional shows planned for early 2027.
