I just finished watching Atlantis, I truly enjoyed the show and I was also disappointed when I realized that the show was canceled. How can you leave us in suspense It’s not right. Please bring back the show. Thank you

There isn’t a season 4… There actually isn’t a season 3 (season 2 was split into 2 halves with a large gap in the middle, which is probably had you confused). Atlantis was cancelled after 2 seasons though, so no more unfortunately. :(

i thoroughly enjoy this show and am disapointed that you are cancelling, good honest fun shows are always getting the axe. why cant you keep Atlantis while stupid shows like housewives of name your city are going season after season…dumb stupid shows that brag the lives of stupid women and they cant keep shows that show value and friendship…ugh just bring it back and let us know what happens. Am fed up with all the reality shows. This is one of the few excellent programs on TV. If the BBC don’t want it can it not be taken up by one of the ITV companies? I haven’t thought this before but if the BBC is moving towards more cheap reality rubbish maybe the Licence fee should be removed as it is clearly unnecessary to fund such rubbish!
My family, my husband, 2 sons (8 & 11), & myself, lov e this program. We watched it when we lived in Singapore ando moved back to the UK and it suddenly stopped. My brothers’ ‘family love it too, also have 2 boys. Please keep it going!

Maaaaan, I watch a lotta shows, and i LOVE Greek mythology.. this is one of them shoes that just needs to carry on! Like Merlin the Colin Morgan one, I wish they carried that on! It seemed like the story to that was going to carry on and then nothing! Grr! Why do y’all cancel the best shows and leave stupid ones like “Game of Thrones” to continue God dammit! Look how many people want it to carry on, it’s a UK show and yet people from the US want to watch it! Come on, you gotta be pretty stupid if you don’t continue this! lol.
This is the most historically/mythologically correct plot I’ve had the pleasure of seeing on TV. Please do not cancel the show!!!!!!! Change actors, but keep the writers, but do continue on!!!!!!! This has all the makings of a great show it has action, adventure, drama, romance, and some comedy. This is most definitely on my top 5 list of best shows ever along with another one of the directors shows Merlin. Week after week I am amazed on how they make this show better and better. I would recommend this show to anyone in need of a new show to watch
I agree with your assessment of the show – it’s getting better, and I think the more sensitive, tender moments are better written too. UNFORTUNATELY yesterday I saw some rumors in internet that although the second half of Season 2 will be shown in late Feb 2015, Season 3 is being cancelled, either b/c of ratings or can’t get Jack Donnelly to continue. Anyone else heard anything like this? I’m writing from the the states and we don’t always get the inside story of the shows. I hope the show is returning. Any info on these rumors would be greatly appreciated! My wife loves Donnelly, so wherever he ends up, please let me know!

I am totally dismayed at the cancellation of this incredible series. The BBC have said that they have to make room for new series and that the show is very expensive to make- any different to Dr. Who?

The genius of the Merlin team, the incredible strength of the actors who create such empathy for the audience with their daily stories and plights, not to mention the brilliant writing and production team.
We realize that you need to make way for new series, BUT, your audience in watching BBC series will diminish if you cannot provide a series that engages a range of demograhies.
Not only have many of us also purchased the DVD series directly from the U.K. and adored watching the specials about how the series is made, but we hope to be able to purchase many more episodes and series.
May I suggest that you set up an online poll in your country to see how many viewers are most distraught and even shocked that such a engaging series will be terminated.
Surely the viewers who watch should have a say, as the BBC is paid for the commercials that it runs and this is in response to the number of viewers who tune in.
I am also sure that many viewers like myself, once the series had started , began their own research into the real Atlantis to see what historical elements were based on fact in the series.
This has lead to the purchase of a range of books about the topic, not to mention more interest in the series to see which sections of the real myths play out.
Please consider these comments.
There are many more chapters to be told of these incredibly rich heroic myths that stimulate the imagination.

This is one of the best series I’ve ever seen + I love Greek mythology…but on what days will the season two episodes air?
The first part of series 2 is finished, and episodes have been airing on Saturdays. Part 2 does not have a confirmed date yet

I love the series, the humor of Hercules keeps me glued to my screen!!
Seasion two is crap. All action no depth no emotion too violent. Season one as with Merlin Dr Who builds up with emotion good scrips and good moments between actors that are human and real and effective.
Atlantic bursts back with horrible attitude has world news made every one go mad. I felt Wizard v Alien was the same with season 3 stright into action very little build up with friendships etc which after all have made these shows so big.
We don’ need to be constantly reminded of war we know blar blar its all we have know for centries. Its the tender moments that pull us in. I am bored of the action in Atlantic this season dull dull dull
I will love to see the 2nd series.

I was an extra for episode 3 of Season 2 and was told this week by the Director (Justin Molotnikov) that it will be aired at the end of October.

It’s definitely coming back for a second series. No idea about broadcasts in other countries though
I would say that Atlantis will now air mid-November as it’s very unlikely to be shown alongside Doctor Who. DW is definately starting in August (as per trailers shown here) so I would guess it would be the 23rd which is the Bank Holiday weekend. If you assume that all 13 episodes are shown, then Atlantis will start on Sat 22nd November, which will mean it will go over the Christmas period and into 2015.
wow this really awesome but i really would like to know if Pythagoras or even the person who acts as him leaves and Matt smith ( known as the 11th incarnation in doctor who) takes his place instead but that is just a rumors but i want to if that is true or not.
my opinion is that Matt smith would do just as Pythagoras even without a sonic screw driver.

It doesn’t have a timeframe yet, other than 2014. Probably autumn
It will start in spring/summer because of doctor who.

We don’t have information for other countries, but it doesn’t yet have an airdate in the UK. We are guessing Autumn for now.
When will atlantis season 3 and 4 be released cause right now am in suspence.
