MCM Comic Con London returned to ExCeL from 23rd to 25th October 2026 for another gloriously geeky weekend of television, film, gaming, comics, books, anime, cosplay and pop culture. We were there across all three days, filming panels featuring stars from ‘Daredevil‘, ‘One Piece‘, Grand Theft Auto, Resident Evil and more, catching up with comic creators, and generally attempting to see as much as humanly possible without developing the ability to teleport!
For anyone who’s never experienced MCM before, imagine a three-day carnival of fandom. It’s friendly, welcoming and packed with something for everyone, whether you’re there to meet your favourite actors, discover independent comics, attend gaming panels, spend an alarming amount of money on merchandise, or simply admire the extraordinary creativity of the cosplay community. And, of course, there’s something rather wonderful about being surrounded by thousands of people who are just as enthusiastic about their particular corner of geek culture as you are.

This October event, however, came with an added challenge: the British weather… Back in May, London was roasting in temperatures around 32°C, making the air-conditioned ExCeL a very welcome refuge. For October, Mother Nature apparently decided we’d had quite enough sunshine and sent two storms instead.
The rain caused something of a logistical nightmare, particularly on Saturday. Normally, the outdoor areas around ExCeL are filled with cosplayers posing for photographs, meeting friends and generally showing off their incredible creations. This time, most people quite sensibly decided that taking their carefully constructed costumes outside into a storm wasn’t an especially good idea… Consequently, everybody was indoors, making the already busy ExCeL considerably more crowded than usual. At times, getting from the press office at one end of the building to the main panel stages at the other could take around half an hour… When you’re trying to cover multiple panels across several stages, that’s not ideal!
Still, despite the weather, the crowds and my increasingly unhappy feet, it was another fantastic event, packed with brilliant guests, fascinating conversations and plenty of wonderfully geeky chaos. And, as we spent rather a lot of time pointing cameras at people, we’ve got a whole collection of videos for you to enjoy!
Highlights (I Missed…) From Across The Weekend

Across the three days, MCM delivered a packed programme spanning television, gaming, comics, fantasy literature, voice acting and much more. Unfortunately, as I’ve discovered over many years of attending conventions, there’s one rather significant problem with trying to cover everything: I can’t be everywhere at once!
It doesn’t help that MCM has a habit of scheduling several things I desperately want to see at exactly the same time. Add in the massive crowds and the fact that getting between stages could take an absolute age, and there were inevitably some panels that escaped my camera.
Still, thanks to the lovely MCM press team, we can at least take a look at some of the highlights I missed!
Critical Role, The Witcher & Other Gaming Highlights

Friday kicked things off in spectacular fashion with the cast of Critical Role taking over the Main Stage. The hugely popular roleplaying phenomenon brought together Matthew Mercer (Overwatch), Laura Bailey (The Last of Us Part II), Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us), Liam O’Brien (Naruto), Travis Willingham (Fullmetal Alchemist), Taliesin Jaffe, Marisha Ray and Sam Riegel for a fan Q&A.
The cast discussed everything from approaching their characters and favourite horror influences to how they unwind after their performances. As you might expect, the audience included some spectacularly dressed fans, because if there’s one group that understands the assignment when it comes to elaborate character costumes, it’s Critical Role fans.
Unfortunately, this was one panel I didn’t make it to, much as I would have loved to see it. The panel kicked off at 11am on Friday, and as I was driving down to London that morning, a combination of uncooperative traffic and my general aversion to mornings rather scuppered that plan. Anyone who’s listened to Geektown Radio will know that 11am isn’t exactly my natural habitat. Apparently, even the combined power of Critical Role isn’t enough to make me a morning person or persuade London’s traffic to cooperate!

Saturday presented a different problem, with fans of The Witcher getting an early look at The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past. More than a decade after the original game launched, Doug Cockle (Geralt of Rivia) and John Schwab (Dandelion) reunited alongside narrative director Philipp Weber and lead writer Paula Mejsner to discuss the upcoming expansion.
The panel featured an early hands-off demonstration and explored the creative inspirations behind the new material, including Polish folklore, romanticism and Shakespearean influences. There was also plenty of discussion about the relationship between Geralt and Dandelion, whose enduring friendship has long been one of the more entertaining aspects of The Witcher universe.
Sadly, this was another panel I had to miss, although this time I have a slightly better excuse! The Witcher panel was scheduled directly opposite the Grand Theft Auto reunion on Saturday morning, which we were filming for the Geektown YouTube channel. As much as I would have loved to see Geralt and Dandelion reunited, I still haven’t worked out how to be in two places at once. So, GTA won that particular scheduling battle, although you’ll be able to see the results of that decision further down this article!
Other gaming highlights included Gaming with Royalty and Rings, celebrating 75 combined years of gaming history with stars associated with The Legend of Zelda and Sonic Racing, while The Power of Play explored the mental health benefits of tabletop roleplaying games.
All fascinating stuff, but with a limited number of hours in the day and a somewhat ambitious filming schedule, unfortunately some things had to give!
Books, Fantasy & Authors I Didn’t Get To See

The literary side of MCM was particularly strong this October, with an impressive collection of bestselling authors appearing across the weekend.
While I managed to capture the Rick Riordan and Annabelle Oh panel, which you’ll find further down this article, there were plenty of other authors I would have loved to hear from.
Divergent author Veronica Roth appeared for a spotlight discussion about her writing career and latest work, The Sixth Faction. She discussed returning to familiar creative territory from an alternative perspective, and how that process helped her reconnect with the enjoyment of writing.
Meanwhile, V.E. Schwab, known for the Villains trilogy and other acclaimed fantasy novels, took to the stage for Sink Your Teeth In, exploring her writing and the stories that have made her such a popular figure among fantasy readers.
Tim Downie (Good Omens, Baldur’s Gate 3) also appeared to introduce his new book, Rituals, offering fans the chance to discover another side of the actor’s creative work.
Sunday brought an equally impressive selection of literary guests, including Patrick Ness, Peter F. Hamilton, Alwyn Hamilton and Garth Nix.
One particularly interesting session was Sci-Fi Worldbuilding: Letting Your Imagination Run Wild, featuring Patrick Ness, Ren Hutchings, Peter F. Hamilton and Moira Buffini. Moderated by Amy McCaw, the panel explored how writers build believable fictional universes, from developing characters and constructing worlds to using science fiction as a way of reflecting contemporary issues. The authors also discussed their different approaches to writing, with some starting from characters, others building outwards from a central conflict, and plenty of advice for aspiring writers.
As someone who loves a bit of science fiction and fantasy, this was definitely another one I would have liked to catch. Unfortunately, the combination of overlapping panels, filming commitments and the time needed to fight my way through ExCeL’s increasingly congested corridors made it impossible to fit everything in.
It’s always good to see MCM giving books and authors such a prominent place alongside the television, film and gaming guests, though. After all, quite a few of our favourite geeky franchises started life with someone sitting down to write a story!
Tomb Raider, Clair Obscur & Sunday’s Impossible Schedule

If Friday was a problem because of traffic and Saturday was a problem because of scheduling clashes, Sunday was simply a case of too many interesting things happening and nowhere near enough time to see them all!
One of the panels I missed was Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, celebrating almost 30 years since Lara Croft first arrived on our screens. Alix Wilton Regan (Dragon Age: Inquisition) appeared alongside Raul Siqueira and Arek Tomaszewski to discuss the latest interpretation of the iconic gaming franchise. One particularly entertaining revelation concerned Alix’s audition, during which she apparently became so enthusiastic about the physical performance that she managed to injure herself by throwing herself into a door! She also discussed the challenge of keeping her involvement in the game a secret from friends and family for three years.
The developers, meanwhile, explained their approach to reimagining a gaming classic, preserving familiar moments while finding opportunities to do something new. That would have been a fascinating panel to cover, but Sunday’s schedule was already packed with other filming commitments, and something had to give.
Another event that escaped my camera was Inside The World Of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, bringing together actors and a lead game writer from the acclaimed RPG. The panel explored how the game’s characters and story were brought to life, with behind-the-scenes anecdotes about the performances, creative process and development of the game. Given how much attention Clair Obscur has attracted, that was another one I would have happily squeezed into the schedule if there had been any room left!
Other Sunday highlights included The Voices of Vale Sangora, exploring the dark fantasy world of The Blood of Dawnwalker, and Hunting Monsters with Jujutsu Kaisen, featuring performers from the hugely popular anime franchise.
Again, all panels I would have liked to attend, but the reality of trying to cover a convention this size is that you have to make some difficult choices… And when you’re carrying camera equipment, navigating enormous crowds, and attempting to get from one end of ExCeL to the other before the next panel starts, those choices become considerably more difficult!
Still, despite missing some fantastic sessions, we did manage to capture an awful lot of brilliant material across the weekend. So, having covered some of the things I unfortunately didn’t get to see, let’s move on to the panels I actually made it to!
And, more importantly, the videos we filmed for you to enjoy!
Geektown’s MCM London Comic Con October 2026 Videos

Right, onto the videos!
We spent much of the weekend filming panels, capturing audience questions and trying to keep up with an increasingly ambitious schedule.
Below you’ll find our collection of videos from MCM London October 2026, featuring the casts of ‘Daredevil’, Resident Evil and Grand Theft Auto, alongside Rick Riordan, Mackenyu, Nolan North, Neil Newbon and plenty of other familiar faces.
We’ve split some of the longer panels into separate videos, covering the main discussions, Existential Chicken and the audience Q&A sections. And we’re deliberately keeping some of the best stories under wraps here, because it’s much more fun hearing them directly from the people involved!
One small warning: some of the gaming and acting panels contain rather strong language. Particularly the GTA one. You have been warned!
Daredevil: Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio & Wilson Bethel
We begin with Charlie Cox (Boardwalk Empire), Vincent D’Onofrio (Law & Order: Criminal Intent) and Wilson Bethel (Hart of Dixie), discussing their experiences playing Matt Murdock, Wilson Fisk and Benjamin Poindexter in Marvel’s ‘Daredevil’ universe.
The three actors were an absolute joy together, clearly enjoying the opportunity to catch up, tease one another and share some fascinating behind-the-scenes stories.
Daredevil Part 1: The Future Of Daredevil
Charlie, Vincent and Wilson discuss the extraordinary journey of ‘Daredevil’, their relationships with the fans and what the future might hold for their characters. There’s some interesting discussion about whether the story should eventually reach a natural conclusion, although Vincent seems considerably less enthusiastic about the idea of saying goodbye to Wilson Fisk! The cast also reflect on what makes these characters so enduring and why returning to them remains such a rewarding experience.
Daredevil Part 2: Existential Chicken!
Things take a rather sillier turn when host WeeClaire introduces the cast to Gilbert the rubber chicken for a round of Existential Chicken. The game involves answering unexpected questions, which leads to some wonderfully entertaining revelations about the actors’ hidden talents. Wilson demonstrates an unusual party trick, Vincent discusses a surprising skill, and Charlie reveals something involving a unicycle that leads to a brilliant story about a performance which didn’t go entirely according to plan!
Daredevil Part 3: Fan Questions, Spider-Man & Stanley Kubrick
The audience Q&A brings out some of the panel’s best stories, including Vincent’s thoughts about which Marvel character he’d most like Kingpin to encounter, Wilson’s rather unexpected audiobook work, and Charlie’s experiences performing behind Daredevil’s mask. There’s also a fantastic story from Vincent about working with legendary director Stanley Kubrick on Full Metal Jacket, which starts as a touching Hollywood memory before Wilson manages to make the whole thing considerably less sentimental!
Grand Theft Auto V: Ned Luke, Shawn Fonteno, Steven Ogg & Young Maylay
Next, we head to Los Santos with Ned Luke (Michael De Santa), Shawn Fonteno (Franklin Clinton), Steven Ogg (The Walking Dead, Trevor Philips) and Young Maylay (Carl ‘CJ’ Johnson).
This was probably the most gloriously unfiltered panel of the entire weekend. The four performers have fantastic chemistry, clearly know how to entertain a crowd, and aren’t remotely concerned about keeping their language suitable for a family audience.
If you’ve played GTA V, however, you probably already know what you’re getting into!
GTA Part 1: Almost Quitting GTA V & Existential Chicken
Shawn Fonteno reveals that he came surprisingly close to walking away from Grand Theft Auto V before he really understood what he’d signed up for, explaining the challenges of performance capture and memorising enormous amounts of dialogue. Ned recalls the moment Shawn found his confidence, while Steven discusses what makes a great acting partner before launching into a particularly entertaining demonstration of something that drives him absolutely mad. The cast then tackle Existential Chicken, with predictably chaotic results!
GTA Part 2: Deleted Missions, GTA VI & Fan Questions
The fan Q&A contains some fascinating revelations, including an entire GTA V mission involving Michael and Trevor that was filmed but never made it into the finished game. There are also stories about the unexpected difficulties of working with Chop the dog, advice for the stars of Grand Theft Auto VI, and an explanation for something Franklin repeatedly says throughout the game. Perhaps most entertainingly, one unfortunate audience member admits to making a controversial decision involving Michael, while the man who plays him is sitting directly in front of them!
Resident Evil: Requiem, Leon Kennedy & The Cast’s Favourite Monsters
For our next collection of videos, we head into the wonderfully horrifying world of Resident Evil, with Nick Apostolides (Leon S. Kennedy), Eden Riegel (Sherry Birkin), Stephanie Panisello (Claire Redfield), Nicole Tompkins (Jill Valentine), Lily Gao (Ada Wong) and Genevieve Buechner (Ashley Graham).
The Sunday panel drew an enormous audience, with the cast commenting on just how many fans had turned out to see them.
They discussed their experiences across the franchise, including the evolution of performance capture, bringing familiar characters back to life, and their relationships with one of gaming’s most passionate fanbases.
Resident Evil Part 1: Requiem, Performance Capture & Behind-The-Scenes Stories
The first video includes some fascinating discussion about how Resident Evil has changed over the years, particularly the technology used to capture the actors’ performances. Eden Riegel compares her experiences working on Resident Evil 6 and Resident Evil Requiem, while Nick Apostolides discusses the responsibility of playing a character with such an extensive history. The cast also reflect on their relationships with fans and what makes the horror franchise so special to people around the world.
Resident Evil Part 2: Existential Chicken & The NPC Incident!
Gilbert the rubber chicken makes another appearance, challenging the Resident Evil cast to answer questions about their lives, unusual habits, personal fears and hypothetical horror games. It’s a fantastic opportunity to see the actors having fun away from the rather grim circumstances their characters usually find themselves in. However, perhaps the funniest moment comes when Lily Gao makes an innocent admission about a familiar gaming term, prompting some wonderfully entertaining reactions from her fellow cast members!
Resident Evil Part 3: Leon’s Evolution, Fan Questions & Gaming Chaos
The fan questions cover everything from Leon Kennedy’s evolution across the series to favourite monsters, memorable performances and some of the truly ridiculous modifications players have made to the games. Nick discusses how he approaches playing an older, more experienced Leon, while Eden shares a particularly lovely story about playing Resident Evil with her children. There are also questions about favourite gaming experiences, character dialogue and plenty of laughs along the way.
Percy Jackson: Rick Riordan, Annabelle Oh & The Future Of Camp Half-Blood
For something a little different, we also attended the Camp Half-Blood panel featuring Percy Jackson creator Rick Riordan and author Annabelle Oh, hosted by Coco Omer.
The discussion centred on the new Camp Half-Blood book series, but also ventured into Disney+’s ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’, potential television spin-offs and the future of the wider Percy Jackson universe.
Percy Jackson Part 1: The Wild Zone, New Demigods & TV Spin-Off Possibilities
Rick and Annabelle discuss Camp Half-Blood: The Wild Zone, the first novel in a new four-book series introducing a group of demigods whose adventures take place between The Lightning Thief and The Sea of Monsters. There are some wonderful insights into how the authors developed the new characters, brought back familiar faces, and collaborated to expand the world. Most intriguingly, Rick explains how the project originally emerged from discussions surrounding the Disney+ television series, and why there might eventually be more opportunities to explore Camp Half-Blood on screen. No spin-off has been commissioned at this stage, but it’s an interesting possibility!
Rick also introduces exclusive Season 3 footage during the panel. That footage isn’t included in our recording, which ends just before the screening.
Percy Jackson Part 2: Heroes Of Olympus, Celtic Mythology & Fan Questions
The second video begins with a prerecorded question from fellow Camp Half-Blood author Kyle Lukoff, before opening the floor to the audience. Rick and Annabelle answer questions about writing, representation, favourite books, character deaths and the future of the franchise. Rick also discusses an area of mythology he’s particularly keen to explore, whether his own Percy Jackson writing might eventually come to an end, and the possibility of adapting Heroes of Olympus for television. There are no new television announcements, but plenty of interesting insights for fans of the books and Disney+ series.
Mackenyu Talks One Piece, Zoro & Eiichiro Oda
Mackenyu (Rurouni Kenshin) made his first appearance at MCM Comic Con, as well as his first visit to London, to discuss playing Roronoa Zoro in Netflix’s live-action ‘One Piece’.
Mackenyu: Zoro’s Secrets, Sword Fighting & The Future
Mackenyu discusses growing up with One Piece, revisiting the early anime to prepare for playing Zoro, and the extraordinary physical demands of bringing the famous swordsman to life. He reveals how much training goes into the fight scenes, why the choreography doesn’t use everything he’s actually capable of doing, and how he can contact manga creator Eiichiro Oda directly when he has questions about the character. There’s also discussion about the Straw Hat cast, the show’s future, and the very different kinds of acting roles Mackenyu would like to explore next.
Charm, Chaos And Command: Nolan North, Neil Newbon & More
One of the most enjoyable panels of the weekend brought together four brilliant performers under the rather wonderful title Charm, Chaos and Command.
On stage were Nolan North (Uncharted), Neil Newbon (Baldur’s Gate 3), Anjali Bhimani (Overwatch, Apex Legends) and Benjamin Byron Davis (Red Dead Redemption 2). What began as a thoughtful discussion about acting careers eventually took some wonderfully ridiculous turns, particularly when Nolan North decided to demonstrate his Jason Statham impression!
Voice Actors Part 1: The Reality Of Acting & A Tribute To BioWare
The first video is a fascinating look at the realities of working as an actor, including rejection, financial difficulties, perseverance and the often unpredictable paths people take into the profession. Nolan shares his journey from college baseball to becoming one of gaming’s best-known performers, while Neil talks candidly about some of his own struggles. Anjali and Benjamin offer thoughtful perspectives on what success actually means, and why simply being able to make a living doing something you love can be a pretty remarkable achievement. Neil also takes a moment to pay tribute to the developers at BioWare and their contribution to gaming.
Voice Actors Part 2: Existential Chicken!
Gilbert returns once again, challenging the four actors to answer questions about their real-life character alignments, whether they’re the main characters in their own stories, and what advice they’d offer younger versions of themselves. Benjamin Byron Davis has a particularly memorable response to one question, while Nolan North reveals what would happen if he were the final boss in a video game. Considering his extensive gaming career, you might expect a difficult battle. You’d be very wrong!
Voice Actors Part 3: Jason Statham, Uncharted & Fan Questions
Perhaps one of the funniest moments of the entire weekend comes when Nolan North is asked to demonstrate a favourite impression and launches into his version of Jason Statham. Neil Newbon joins in, and before long, the two are inventing an increasingly ridiculous collection of imaginary action films featuring the British star. It’s absolutely hilarious! There’s also a fascinating discussion about Nolan’s work on Uncharted, including casting stories involving Amy Hennig and Claudia Black, alongside thoughtful answers about creativity, imposter syndrome and finding confidence as a performer.
Comics, Creators & Twisted Comics

Of course, MCM Comic Con isn’t just about the big celebrity panels. One of the best parts of the event is wandering around the show floor, discovering independent creators, browsing artwork, and finding comic books you never knew existed but suddenly desperately need to own.
Unfortunately, given the weather, the crowds, and the amount of time spent travelling between panel stages, there wasn’t quite as much opportunity for wandering this time around!
However, I did manage to catch up with Neil Gibson from Twisted Comics, who had some rather interesting news.
For those unfamiliar with Neil’s work, he’s the creator of Twisted Dark, a collection of dark, interconnected comic book stories with a distinctly unsettling edge. His company also publishes titles such as Acting Like Animals, and has been working on official comic adaptations of episodes from ‘Black Mirror’. We previously caught up with Neil at MCM in May, when Twisted Comics were showing off their adaptation of ‘USS Callister’. Now, Neil has revealed that ‘White Bear’ will be the third story adapted into graphic novel form, following ‘USS Callister’ and ‘San Junipero’. It’s an interesting collection of stories to bring to the page, particularly given how visually distinctive and tonally different those episodes are.
Neil also revealed that there have been conversations with Netflix about potentially adapting his own Twisted Dark comics for television. Now, before anyone gets too excited, nothing has been officially commissioned, and discussions are a long way from having an actual show on screen. Still, it’s a rather intriguing possibility. Given the nature of Twisted Dark, a television adaptation could be a fascinating fit for audiences who enjoy unsettling anthology storytelling.
It’s always lovely to catch up with independent comic creators at MCM, particularly when you can follow their projects as they grow and develop from one convention to the next.
Listen To Our Geektown Radio MCM London Comic Con Special
As well as filming the panels, we also put together a special edition of Geektown Radio dedicated entirely to MCM London Comic Con October 2026.
Rather than our usual collection of television reviews, renewals, cancellations and air dates, Episode 507 takes you around the convention weekend, with stories from the show floor, behind-the-scenes observations and some of our favourite moments from the panels.
You’ll hear clips featuring Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio and Wilson Bethel discussing ‘Daredevil’, along with Ned Luke, Shawn Fonteno, Steven Ogg and Young Maylay sharing some hilarious Grand Theft Auto stories.
We also dip into the Resident Evil panel, hear from Rick Riordan about the future of Camp Half-Blood, and revisit some of the other highlights from a packed weekend of geek culture.
Plus, there’s our chat with Neil Gibson from Twisted Comics about the ‘Black Mirror’ graphic novels and the potential future of Twisted Dark.
It’s a great way to get a flavour of the weekend if you haven’t got time to watch every panel in full, although we’d obviously encourage you to check out the videos too!
You can listen to Geektown Radio Episode 507: MCM London Comic Con Special below, or find it in your favourite podcast app.
You can also subscribe to Geektown Radio wherever you get your podcasts for our regular weekly discussions about the latest television, film, streaming and gaming news, along with our convention specials, interviews and other geeky goodness.
Cosplay At MCM London Comic Con October 2026
Finally, we come to one of the biggest highlights of any MCM Comic Con weekend: the cosplay!
As mentioned earlier, the weather wasn’t especially cooperative this time around. With two storms passing through London, much of the outdoor space where cosplayers usually gather was largely abandoned, which made capturing our usual collection of costume photographs considerably more difficult.
It’s a shame, because cosplay is such a huge part of what makes MCM special.
The amount of creativity, time and effort people put into their costumes is extraordinary, whether they’re recreating elaborate armour from video games, bringing anime characters to life, or producing wonderfully obscure outfits that only a handful of people in the room will recognise.
And, of course, part of the fun is spotting that one costume which makes you stop and think, “I can’t believe somebody actually made that!”
Thankfully, while the storms interfered with our usual outdoor cosplay coverage, we did manage to film one of the weekend’s biggest costume events.
MCM London Comic Con Cosplay Masquerade & World Cosplay Summit UK Qualifier
On Saturday 24th October 2026, ExCeL hosted the MCM London Comic Con Cosplay Masquerade alongside the World Cosplay Summit (WCS) Team UK Qualifier.
Hosted by CJ Allan, also known online as CJtheGeek, the event brought some wonderfully talented cosplayers onto the stage to showcase their costumes, performances and craftsmanship.
The Masquerade is always a brilliant celebration of the creativity within the cosplay community, with participants getting the chance to show off the costumes they’ve spent so much time bringing to life. The World Cosplay Summit qualifier adds an international element, with teams competing for the opportunity to represent the United Kingdom at the 2027 World Cosplay Summit in Nagoya, Japan.
We’ve combined both competitions into one video, so you can enjoy the wonderful costumes and performances from the stage.
Cosplay Photo Gallery
While we weren’t able to capture our usual selection of outdoor cosplay photographs thanks to the weather, we also have some fantastic official photography from the MCM team.
The photos give you a wonderful taste of the colourful creativity on display across the weekend, even if many of the costumes spent rather more time indoors than their creators might originally have planned!
Final Thoughts
Despite the storms, the packed corridors and the extraordinary amount of walking, MCM Comic Con London October 2026 was another fantastic weekend.
Between the major television and gaming guests, the impressive collection of authors, independent comic creators, extraordinary cosplay and the general atmosphere of people simply enjoying the things they love, there’s always something special about MCM.
And for me, that’s really the best thing about it.
You don’t have to know every character, recognise every costume, or have encyclopaedic knowledge of every franchise. You can simply turn up, enjoy yourself, discover something new, and spend a weekend surrounded by other people who are just as enthusiastic about their favourite bits of geek culture as you are… Even when British weather decides to make the whole experience considerably soggier than necessary!
A huge thank you to everyone involved in making MCM London Comic Con such an enjoyable event, and to all the guests, creators and cosplayers who helped make the weekend so memorable.
