British scholarship student Elise forms an unlikely friendship with fashion influencer Barbara, and the pair decide to stage a late-night feminist art protest after a series of frustrating encounters with men. However, after drunkenly defacing a statue of their university’s male founder, they wake to discover the campus star athlete has been murdered and displayed alongside their political statement.
Desperate to remove any evidence connecting them to the scene, Elise and Barbara begin trying to identify the real killer themselves. With Detective Shepherd closing in, gender tensions rising across the university and the body count continuing to grow, the pair are pulled deeper into a darkly comic and increasingly dangerous murder mystery.
