I have contacted Amazon.co.UK not once but twice on 23rd and 24th Jan 2019 both times they have confirmed to me that Amazon.co.UK will NOT be getting season 3 on 8th Feb. I hope that will be proved wrong but that’s what they said.

I’m not sure why they would be telling you that, but this info came from the official press release from Amazon UK which says – “Amazon has today announced Prime Video will be the exclusive subscription streaming home of Seasons 1 – 3 of The Expanse in over 200 countries and territories including the UK starting 8th February.”
I really hope you are correct Dave. I contacted Amazon through the online ‘chat’ feature, who put me through to someone else, then another person and another until finally on the two occasions they stated something along the lines of “we have not been given information from hq that our catalogue is due to be updated with season 3. I even stated my original question as ” if you can confirm the UK is getting S3 then I will take out a prime subscription” to try and encourage them to check properly so as to avoid losing a potential customer. If that would make any difference that is. Well, anyway if the UK gets S3 on 8th Feb then fantastic. If not I’ve decided to go down the VPN route to avoid this issue in the future on any show anywhere. Let’s hope we get it Dave!!
I am so glad what I was told was wrong! Like a tragic sad soul I waited until it was 5 past midnight on the 8th Feb and logged into Amazon. Yeehhaaa not only is S3 there, but now all 3 seasons are free of charge, whereby S1 & S2 were chargeable before in the UK. Now Amazon will have my money for a subscription instead of a free trial. Thank you Amazon for saving the Expanse and letting the UK see it all rather than the shafting this country used to get.
Just to say I think its been confirmed that season 3 will stream at the same time as Amazon run season 1 and 2
Season Three is available on BluRay from the US, and appears to be region-free, despite what the Amazon page says

The Expanse is leaving Netflix UK on September 30th according to their website.

It’s coming out at the start of October.
Hopefully this will spur Netflix into airing Season 3.

When will Season 2 be broadcasted in the UK? It’s already started in the US.
I literally only discovered this show LAST NIGHT, Whilst I’m Halfway through Caliban’s War. Im still a sceptic (as per usual with any Book Adaption, most recent being A Song of Fire and Ice) there will be a lot going on and they can’t really explain it too well without changing the story slightly. Ive now sworn off Game of Thrones for that very reason, but I’m hoping this will be popular enough that they don’t have to change the story for TV ONLY fans of the story.
Also can’t believe they had Mike from BB and BCS in the pilot for all of 5 seconds of screen time….
I saw Season 1 while on an extended US stay, looks like I’ll have to spend another 3 months there to see Season 2… I still can’t see why SyfyUK can’t show what Syfy in the US shows (it seriously bugs me that they don’t), – isn’t this a Syfy Original?
The Expanse was renewed for a second season back in December. Hopefully a UK broadcaster will be found. I saw the pilot on YouTube, where it was officially released, and am looking forward to seeing the rest.

The first episode, legally available on YouTube, was really good as adaptations go. Fingers crossed someone pulls their finger out and shows it soon!
Unfortunately, this is going to be pirated because that’s the only way for people outside the US to watch it. Then it will be cancelled, citing piracy as the reason.
It’s a shame because I had high hopes for this show as I love the books.
When will the expanse be aired. Great books and looking forward to this ….
