The hit Australian prison drama Wentworth Prison returns with a new chapter that takes the action beyond the prison walls. Katrina Milosevic reprises her role as Susan ‘Boomer’ Jenkins, who arrives at Sal’s Halfway House freshly released on parole and determined to turn her life around, with her ultimate goal being to regain custody of her daughter.
However, freedom proves far from straightforward when a body is discovered, sparking suspicion and distrust among the residents. To make matters worse, someone Boomer informed on to shorten her sentence has also been released and is determined to exact revenge.
Nicole da Silva returns as Franky Doyle alongside Kate Box as Lou Kelly, with Rachel Griffiths, Sophie Lowe and Nadine Garner among the new additions. Together, the residents must navigate a dangerous world where getting out of prison is only the beginning, and staying out is the real challenge.
