We recently announced that Simon Barry’s Continuum would be finally making a return to the UK in on Syfy UK in Jan 2015. However Showcase (the Canadian network that commissioned the show) has decided to only renew it for a 4th and final season of 6 episodes.
The show, which follows protector (aka future cop) Kiera Cameron who gets stuck in the past (our present) whilst chasing a group of terrorists as they try and change the past alter the future.
“All great stories deserve an end. I am excited and grateful to finish Continuum with the riveting conclusion it deserves,” said series star, Rachel Nichols. “This series finale is dedicated to the devoted fans who have loyally supported us since day one.”
Along with Lost Girl, this is the 2nd scifi/fantasy show Showcase have dropped recently.
