I take it we have to wait ’til 2016…. I don’t want to start watching be half way through the season THEN it starts airing….

  2. Chris says:

Well after this I think I’ll start watching shows online as a lot of UK TV waists talent on usual dramas BBC and Chanel 4 etc which is sad because great shows like Merlin and the late unfairly cancelled Atlantis don’t get thought about in context it’s like crappy 90’s UK TV all over Gin and it’s really sad

  3. Robstopper says:

I echo what Chris has said, like him I got fed up of waiting and emailed Channel 4. They said they had no firm date for transmission, but didn’t flat-out say they wouldn’t be showing it at all. So hopefully……..sometime……..maybe soon, maybe not, we’ll finally be able to watch Season 3!

  4. fangy says:

And then they wonder why people stream stuff online instead of watching it on tv!! Well DURRR if you can’t air such a hugely popular show at least in some sort of line with the release in america then what are fans gonna do? it’s not rocket science now is it!
at this rate season 3 will be on region 1 dvd box set sales before we get it here! ohhhhh no adverts!

  5. Chris says:

I spoke to inquiries with Channel 4 and they said they are unsure about season 3 returning but have put in a request due to popular demand, they are busy scheduling their own home grown shows.

  6. Chris says:

Gods almighty will this show ever appear in the UK it’s almost three months late, all my shows except this and The Originals have been picked up yet Marvel’s Agents of Shield and The Originals are both half way through season in the USA and haven;t even been green lighted to start here… Come on Chanel 4 move yer arse!

  7. annabel says:

why wont they show it in the UK before USA

  8. Storm says:

When does it start guys. If you guys hear anything, let me know asap got it

  9. Ian says:

Why not just have it start at the same time as previous years? Why all this messing about? No wonder shows don’t get the ratings.

  10. Jess says:

I’ve worked out a theory that is probably stupid but oh well , AoS is being repeated on E4 everyday, and there are 44 episodes altogether, which means season 2 will finish on a Thursday in about 9 weeks. Friday is the normal AoS day in the UK which could mean they are getting ready for the new season because E4 is part of Channel 4? Just an idea.

    • Dave Dave says:

That’s actually not a bad guess Jess. It would put it into very early Jan, which is a distinct possibility. That may, possibly, remove enough of the gaps they have in the US airing to allow them to run the show as a single block, rather than have a mid-season break like they usually have to. We’ll just have to wait and see what they do. :)

    • Storm says:

Hey Jess I strongly support your theory as I expect that Ao5 repeats finish on the 17 Dec, so I think that you think Ao5 should start on the 18 Dec. I know what you are think as the second episode would be on christ day, but I think it will start back on the 1 Jan and so when it is time for the US mid-season Premire we won’t have to wait like a month like we usally have to do.

    • Rose says:

I suspect you are correct. They did the same last time, that is, they showed the whole of first season and then began season two after the last repeated showing of the last espisold of season one. It’s very frustrating. I can’t wait for season three, I’m so excited to see it already.

  11. Katrine says:

Agents of SHIELD will be repeated on E4 at 4:00pm at on Monday 19th October.

  12. CJ says:

Does anyone know if they will repeat AOS series 2 in the UK? Sky box broke and I lost the last 12 episodes :o|

    • James Hunter says:

I don’t know when season 2 is being re-aired but I do know the DVD boxed set for season 2 is supposed t be released n the 19th of this month,

  13. Jess says:

Agent Carter season 2 is returning to the UK around Christmas and I can’t remember where I read it but it might have said that Carter would start during the AoS mid season break. So that could mean it’s on around October/ November time?!

    • Miles says:

Unlikely. Both Agent Carter and AoS are on different channels so won’t necessarily show them in U.S broadcast order. AC doesn’t start in the U.S until January and Fox may show it a week or so after to catch up with U.S scheduling. As for AoS, it looks like Channel 4 may not air it until 2016 let alone October.

  14. Miles says:

Channel 4 just announced their Autumn/Winter 2015 acquisitions and schedules. Agents of SHIELD unlike last year isn’t on there. Could this mean they’ve passed on Season 3?

    • Dave Dave says:

      Hi Miles,

I’ve jst managed to confirm that Channel 4 have got AoS Season 3, they just aren’t sure when it’ll air yet which is why it was missing from the list.

It’s not airing in the US till 29th Sept which means it’s later than last year. My guess is that they may be considering holding it back till the new year, because if they start it from late Jan/Feb, they could run it as a solid block with no breaks, and we’d catch up on the US as we go. Or they may just run it from Oct. Really depends what the breaks are like in the US schedule…

  15. Sarah says:

29th September on ABC, not FOX sorry got it mixed up with another programme

  16. Sarah says:

Season 3 is on Fox 21st September 2015

  17. Miles says:

I think a more likely return date for Season 2 is April. It doesn’t return in the U.S until March anyway because of Agent Carter.

  18. Hitesh says:

Finally got a chance to see Season 2 episode 10 and in my opinion it was brilliant. C4 have said the show would be back in Spring next year. Do you guys have an idea on what the actual date might be?

    • Dave Dave says:

No exact date yet, but due to the stupid number of breaks in the US schedule between now and April, my best guess would be March, which is what they did last year.

      • Hitesh says:

        Thanks Dave.

        Appreciate it :-)

      • Jan says:

Hi ive not used these forums before for these purposes so please bear with me……….So last week i was completely unaware it was the series finale……and in description says”the team must make a sacrifice that chages things for good”,and didnt see any sacrifice, unless a 10 sec toilet break was the cause of my missing it………….then expexted to find out what this was as i thought it had something to do with gemma at the end scene/then come this morn i get up/goto 4od and theres nothing……….no last night episode wish idve known………..i cant wait till next yr for the follow up……………as many of us fans cant i guess,,,,,,,,,,,could you be so kind as to explain(yes im a noob at this type of thing) cheers…………….J………

  19. Jodie says:

Just checked my Sky Tv Guide (Saturday 11th October 14) and on Friday the 24th October at 8pm is a programme about Andy Murry not Agents of Shield. Any idea of the date coz the info you’ve given isn’t the right one!!

    • Andrew Andrew says:

The Andy Murray thing is on the 17th. The 24th is a full week later

      • Jodie says:

Yep. Just figured that out. I suppose that’s what I get for not doubled checking the dates!! Just caught a advert of the new season and was able to press the “reminder” button!! Panic over. Don’t want to miss this season like I missed the started of the 2nd half of the 1st season!!

  20. LJ says:

okay, I did a little more research and Channel 4 had this to say:

“S.H.I.E.L.D. will be returning to Channel 4 most likely in March (exact date tbc). This is so that we can air the remainder of the series at one episode a week with no more breaks in between episodes.”

Great, MARCH? how on Earth are we supposed to wait until then? God Damn Channel 4!

    • Dave Dave says:

      Hi LJ,

That was in reference to the break they had to take post Christmas for season 1 this year, not the airing of season 2. If you notice, they refer to the ‘remainder of the series’ – aka the second half of season 1, not season 2.

    • Ian says:

I’ll have forgotten about it by next March.

  21. LJ says:

Did AOS air at the same time as the US last time? IF so, I think it’s incredibly unfair that Channel 4 is forcing their fans to wait, while being teased with spoilers on social media websites constantly. Come on Channel 4, buck your ideas up!

  22. JokerFC says:

RTE2 in Ireland had AOS season 1 at virtually the same time as Channel 4 last year…..airing the show on the Sunday after C4. Hopefully RTE gets the jump this year as they do with so many shows.

  23. TamTam says:

If I’m honest, I thought the show started out a little slow, but, boy did it take off. I have been very impressed with the first season, and I look forward to the return of the second season. I also look forward to finding out why Centipede and The Girl In The Flower Dress are so interested in Agent Coulson. Further more, I would love to see the introduction of more super powered people, whether they be hero or villain. I would also like to know when it starts again on UK tv, the only start date I can find is Jan 7th but that’s America, can anyone help me out???

  24. Pete says:

Seriously no UK broadcaster has picked this up yet, maybe they are waiting to see how it performs since Joss’s last couple of TV attempts were cult hits but sadly.not really big enough for TV bosses

    • Andrew Andrew says:

No UK broadcaster has confirmed having bought it yet.

However, there’s no rush- it hasn’t started yet.

    • John says:

      In response to “Pete says:

Lets see the facts here, Joss Whedon directed Marvel’s The Avengers (or Avengers Assemble for UK Audiences) Agent’s of S.H.I.E.L.D. is a spinoff from Avengers, what could the problem be?

  25. Will be keeping my eye on GeekTown for this one! Love Joss. Love Coulson. CAN’T WAIT!
