The Hobbit’s wizard Radagast the Brown and the last of the classic Doctors, Sylvester McCoy is the first guest confirmed for the Sci-Fi Weekender which will take place at Hafan Y Mor, Pwllheli, North Wales 19th – 22nd March 2015.
Sylvester McCoy, the Seventh incarnation of the Doctor will appear at the Europe’s biggest residential Sci Fi festival along with an array of exciting guests soon to be announced. Event organiser Jonni Davis, CEO of Chic festivals, said “the weekender is “pure escapism” for fans “People often ask us if we’re putting a convention here and we’re not, it’s more of an experience and what we do is bring together around 3,500 people of a similar mindset to engage with all the different aspects of Sci-Fi and fantasy and live in those worlds for a few days.”
The Sci-fi Weekender continues to promise the ultimate Sci-Fi experience. Quite simply it’s a festival of fun and activities for people who love science fiction and fantasy, who can immerse themselves into 7 zones of panels, authors, screenings, gaming, quizzes, comics plus some of the best Sci Fi laced evening entertainment on the planet. SFW6 will also feature a dedicated live arena which will stage 20 leading bands from the psychedelic, progressive and Space rock world.
