Just wanted to post a sad note to say British comedy legend Rik Mayall has passed away at the age of 56.
No additional news, other than the announcement from his Management company saying “We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Rik Mayall who passed away this morning. We will be issuing a further statement in the fullness of time.”
A very sad loss, and our thoughts are with his family.

I always thought he was immortal- a total force of nature, it just seems a bit unreal! I’m waiting for him to leap up and shout ” ha haa!Got you, you bastards!!” But somehow, I don’t think he will,this time. Give em Hell up in Heaven, Rik, I’m off to hit someone with a frying pan…
