Competition: Win 1 of 3 copies of THE NOTORIOUS MR. BOUT on DVD!

THE NOTORIOUS MR. BOUT is the true story of the man known as ‘the merchant of death’. The story follows Viktor Bout, a Russian entrepreneur, a war profiteer, an aviation magnate, an arms smuggler and strangest of all, an amateur filmmaker!

To celebrate its release on DVD, we have 3 DVDs to give away!

Viktor Bout weaves twenty years of home movies with extensive first person narrative and high profile interviews to form a startling account of how this Russian entrepreneur became one of the world’s most infamous felons

Until three days prior to his 2008 arrest on charges of conspiring to kill Americans Bout kept the camera running, documenting a life spent in the grey areas of international law.

Dubbed the “Merchant of Death” and portrayed by Nicolas Cage in Hollywood’s Lord of War Viktor Bout can justifiably be called the world’s most famous arms dealer.

With unprecedented access to Bout’s home movies and DEA surveillance material gathered during the sting operation to bring him down THE NOTORIOUS MR. BOUT is a portrait of a life much mythologised but little understood.

Available digitally and on DVD NOW!

I wanted to buy a great big weapon
So I called up Mr Bout
I said, “Can I have a bazooka?
Or something with mega clout?”

He said, “That’ll cost you a fair bit, Son
How much do you have?”
I said, £3.60
He said, “Are you having a laugh?”

I said maybe I can stretch to a fiver
He said, with boiling rage,
“I have never been so insulted”
Get off, you were played by Nic Cage!

Mr Bout took off with a huff
Upon an armoured tanker
Well, good riddance to him I say,
The despicable arms dealing w****er.

I feel I should win this DVD because my spelling is far superior to yours. As all film fans know, it is Nicolas Cage, not Nicholas Cage.

Well spotted Sandra! It’s not actually my spelling at fault though, that was in the official press release… (oops). ;)

Fixed it now. :)

Cheers,
Dave
