It’s the start of December, which means it’s time for the return of The Geektown Awards! Once again, we have a HUGE prize package for you to win, and all you need to do to enter is vote!
As regular visitors to the site will know, every year we hold the Geektown Awards, a massive event where you can not only vote for all your favourite shows, films and games, but also be in with a chance of winning our MASSIVE prize package! It has been another amazing year for tv, film and gaming. We’ve had some great new tv shows, such as ‘Jack Ryan’, ‘Killing Eve’, ‘The Orville’, ‘Altered Carbon’ and ‘Bodyguard’. We’ve seen the return of massive series such as ‘Westworld’, ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’, and ‘Doctor Who’. We’ve had superb games including ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’, ‘Detroit: Become Human’ and Sony’s ‘Spider-man’, along with some great movies like ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, ‘Deadpool 2’ and ‘A Quiet Place’.
Obviously, we can’t have every show, movie, and game released this year on the list, so the Geektown staff voted on our long (long!) list of the year’s entertainment and picked out the top subjects in each area to give you a shortlist on which you can vote.
This year, there are two prizes – The Main Prize, which is worth over £700, and a runner-up Mystery Box, worth £125. You could win all of this:
The main prize includes such items as NOW TV Smark Stick, an Amazon Fire Tablet, The Greatest Showman, Coco, and Avengers Infinity War on DVD and Blu-ray. Books & comic books including a Doctor Who novel, a pop culture art book, a Superman graphic novel, and a pile of geeky notebooks. A load of collectable figures & ornaments including Funko POPS, K’nex Family Guy figures, some awesome Gotham action figures, and various Star Wars and Doctor Who collectables. There’s also a Doctor Who Sonic Spork, Princess Bride Playing Cards, Batman Egg Cups, a Superman Backpack, plus many many other prizes.
