Just wanted to point out, today we are 8 years old. :)

It’s been an interesting ride so far, and we’ve met some interesting people! The site has grown so much… From a tiny blog I started so myself and some friends as somewhere to post geeky stuff they we liked, to one of the largest hubs for tv air date info in the UK. And for that, I wanted to say thank you to all the people that visit, like, follow us, and post comments. You make this site what it is. :)
Running Geektown has given me some amazing opportunities. It’s sent me to previews and film premieres. It’s let me interview some amazing people, from A list actors like Cillian Murphy & legends like George Takei & Warwick Davies, to amazing composers like Fil Eisler & Nate Barr.
This weekend I’ll post the 30th Geektown Podcast, which has given me the chance to talk to TV stars like Penny Dreadful’s Harry Treadaway, the cast of Horrible Histories & Yonderland, and the lovely Stephanie Leonidas from SyFy’s Defiance.
This year was also the first time I’ve donned a full costume and joined in the cosplay fun at Comic Con. It’s been a really entertaining year! :D
So, I just wanted to say thank you all, and I hope we continue for a long time yet!
