Just wanted to highlight this interesting new app being launch by a good friend of Geektown. MyFilmClub is an app for Android and Apple devices for all you movie enthusiasts out there.
It finds your nearest cinema, shows film times and helps you organise when works best for you and your friends.
It brings you the latest film news, trailers, VOD and DVD releases, as well as news of film festivals and special events in your area.
Want to go see a film and discuss it with someone afterwards, but none of your mates want to go? MyFilmClub also has you covered there, as you can post a message to find other film fans locally who want to see the film. It’s a great way to meet new people.
You can add future releases to your favourites and receive alerts when tickets are on sale or DVDs/Blu-rays are available to pre-order. You can even arrange a private screening at your local cinema.
MyFilmClub will be totally free, and available this Summer.
