‘The 100’ Adds ‘Peaky Blinders’ Jordan Bolger
‘The 100‘ will be getting a bit of UK talent when it returns for season 5, as they add ‘Peaky Blinders‘ Jordan Bolger to the cast.
Bolger will play “adrenaline junkie” Zeke Shaw. The character is described as brimming with brains, with and bravado, with a passion for uncovering the secrets of the universe. This led him to join a space mission to a distant solar system, but fate has sent him back to Earth, where he finds the charred remains of his old world, tribal warfare, shifting alliances and a brutal fight for humanity’s survival.
“Thank you to everyone showing love and support already!” Bolger wrote on his Twitter account. “This season’s looking to be a crazy rollercoaster… I can’t wait!”
Along with playing Isaiah in ‘Peaky Blinders’, Bolger is no stranger to apocalyptic landscapes (and no, I don’t mean Birmingham, you cheeky reader!) He also starred in ‘Into The Badlands‘, which airs on Amazon Prime in the UK.
In other ‘The 100’ casting news, Clarke’s adopted ‘daughter’, Madi, who we saw in the season 4 finale has been recast, as ‘Shadowhunters’ star Lola Flanery will be taking over the role from Imogen Tear. Additionally, Tasya Teles, who plays Echo, has been upgraded to a series regular. We last saw her character alongside Raven and the gang as they blasted off into space in an attempt to reach the remains of the Ark.
‘The 100‘ returns mid-season (Jan/Feb 2018) in the US, so we’re expecting to see it some point after that in the UK. ‘Peaky Blinders‘ is expected to return in Winter 2017.
