by Dave Elliott

As the excitement builds for the return of last years phenomenal break out hit Stranger Things, Netflix drops one final trailer… As if you needed to be hyped anymore! It’s creepy, full of 80’s nostalgia, and utterly brilliant!

It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.

As you can see in the trailer, Millie Bobby Brown returns as Eleven, the boys have some sweet Ghostbusters cosplay going on, and there is a large monster looming over the town. The only person who may have some idea what’s going on is poor Will, who has returned a changed kid.

Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, and Joe Keery are all back, and have some more 80’s icons joining them. Sean Astin (‘The Goonies’, ‘Lord Of The Rings’) will play Joyce’s new boyfriend/old high school classmate Bob, and Paul Reiser (‘Aliens’, ‘Red Oaks’) joins as Owens, a Department of Energy executive tasked with containing the events of the first season.

Also new this season are Brett Gelman (‘Fleabag’) who plays Murray Bauman, a former journalist turned conspiracy theorist, and Will Chase (‘Nashville’, ‘Smash’) who is starring as Neil Mayfield, the father of a new family in town.

Stranger Things‘ comes to Netflix for your binge-watching pleasure on Friday, 27th October 2017.
