‘SEAL Team’ Returns In October For Season 2 UK Premiere On Sky One

Fans of US army drama SEAL Team won’t have to wait long to catch up with Jason and his buddies, as Sky One will bring the 2nd Season of the show back to UK tv screens in October the broadcaster has announced.

‘SEAL Team’ stars Boreanaz (‘Angel’, ‘Bones’) as Jason Hayes, the respected, intense leader of the Tier One team whose home life has suffered as a result of his extensive warrior’s existence. His team includes his trusted confidant, Ray Perry (Neil Brown Jr. – ‘Insecure’, ‘Straight Outta Compton’), the longest-tenured operator with whom Jason shares an ingrained shorthand, and Sonny Quinn (A. J. Buckley – ‘CSI: NY’, ‘Murder in the First’), an exceptional, loyal soldier with a checkered past who still combats self-destructive tendencies. Clay Spenser (Max Thieriot – ‘Bates Motel’, ‘Point Break’), is the newest recruit. A young, multi-lingual second generation SEAL with insatiable drive and dedication.

The 2nd Season will have a few new faces as Samantha Sloyan (‘Grey’s Anatomy’) takes a recurring role as Victoria, wife of SEAL Team Commander Adam Siever (Michael Irby). Michael McGrady (‘Ray Donovan’) joins as Commanding Officer Harrington, a confident and skilled mentor to members of Bravo team, and Ruffin Prentiss (‘Power’) will play Summer Kairos, team’s new Explosives Ordinance Disposal tech.

There are also some changes behind the scenes as John Glenn (‘Allegiance’) takes over as showrunner from Ed Redlich. Creator Benjamin Cavell has also left the series following “a creative direction adjustment”…

The season 2 premiere will see Jason and Bravo Team head to the Gulf of Guinea to rescue American hostages after an oil platform is overtaken by armed militants.

SEAL Team‘ Season 2 premieres Tuesday, 23 October 2018 at 9pm on Sky One & NOW TV.
