The couple, along with their children, decides to move from North Carolina to an all-white Los Angeles neighbourhood. Whilst the family’s home is on a tree-lined, seemingly idyllic street, it soon becomes ground zero where malevolent forces, both real and supernatural, threaten to taunt, ravage and destroy them. Alison Pill, Ryan Kwanten, Percy Hynes White, Javier Botet and Derek Phillips also star.

The Walking Dead: World Beyond

https://youtu.be/dOf0wdg05hc

The new series features two young female protagonists and focuses on the first generation to come-of-age in the apocalypse as we know it. Some will become heroes. Some will become villains. In the end, all of them will be changed forever. Grown-up and cemented in their identities, both good and bad. Whilst these young adults have only known a world with “empties” (their word for walkers), they grew up protected behind walls in (relative) comfort and safety. Their settlement seems to have managed to get back to something resembling pre-apocalypse civilisation, but, of course, these teens are not going to stay there… A small group leave their compound and head out into the surrounding wasteland on a mission beyond their walls. It isn’t clear exactly where they are heading, although it seems to have something to do with one teen’s father going missing.

Truth Seekers

‘Truth Seekers’ is a horror-comedy series about a team of part-time paranormal investigators who team up to uncover and film ghost sightings across the UK, sharing their adventures on an online channel for all to see. However, as they stake out haunted churches, underground bunkers and abandoned hospitals with their array of homemade ghost-detecting gizmos, their supernatural experiences grow more frequent, more terrifying and even deadly, as they begin to uncover a conspiracy that could bring about Armageddon for the entire human race. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost star alongside Malcolm McDowell, Samson Kayo, Emma D’Arcy, Susan Wokoma and Julian Barratt.

Utopia

The 9-episode series comes from award-winning Gillian Flynn, the best-selling author and screenwriter of Golden Globe-nominated ‘Gone Girl’, HBO’s award-winning ‘Sharp Objects’, and is based on Channel 4 series of the same name. The story follows a group of young adults, who meet online but are mercilessly hunted by a shadowy deep state organisation after they come into possession of a near-mythical, cult, underground graphic novel. They discover the conspiracy theories in the comic’s pages may actually be real and are forced into the dangerous, unique and ironic position of saving the world. Rainn Wilson (‘Star Trek: Discovery’, ‘The Office US’), Cory Michael Smith (‘Gotham’), Sasha Lane (‘American Honey’), Dan Byrd (‘Cougar Town’), and John Cusack (‘High Fidelity’) star.
