Geektown Radio 269: ‘3%’, ‘Evil’ & ‘Utopia’ Reviews, TV News, Renewals & Cancellations, Plus UK TV Air Dates!

On this week’s episode of the Geektown Radio podcast, Bex From TristaBytes (still trapped in a well, with surprisingly good wifi!) returns to the podcast for a chat through our week in tv, gaming & film, along with all the weekly tv news, renewals and cancellations.

Reviewing the last 7 days in tv and gaming, Bex gives us her review of Brazilian Netflix dystopian thriller ‘3%’, along with chatting about retro platformer ‘Eternum Ex’, and, having finally finish ‘Alien Isolation’, her new “Scream Stream” game ‘Dead Space’. Meanwhile, I review the new Alibi series ‘Evil’, along with Amazon’s take on ‘Utopia’, and new ‘9-1-1’ spin-off series ‘9-1-1: Lone Star’.

In the TV news, we have all the usual renewals, cancellations and pickups, along with this week’s tv news and a list of the tv shows which have returned to filming, post-shutdown. We also chat through ‘Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin’ getting picked up to series, Disney+ making a ‘Nick Fury’ series, Amazon’s possible spin-off to ‘The Boys’, and HBO Max making a show based around ‘Peacemaker’ from James Gunn’s ‘The Suicide Squad’.

On This Weeks Show:

  • I’m joined by Bex to review the movies, tv-series, and games we’ve been watching and playing over the past week.
  • We take a look at all the latest tv & film news, including all the renewals & cancellations.
  • We give you our recommendations for the upcoming TV in the next few weeks.
