Geektown Radio 297: ‘Jupiter’s Legacy’, ‘The Bad Batch’ Reviews, Renewals & Cancellations, UK TV Air Dates!

On this week’s Geektown Radio podcast, Darryl from Hollywood North News joins me to chat through our week in tv, film & gaming, along with all the weekly tv news, renewals and cancellations!

We begin by reviewing the last 7 days in tv, film and gaming, and Darryl has been watching Sky One’s ‘Intergalactic’, so gives us his thoughts on that. He’s also been watching indie sci-fi film ‘Enhanced’, and DC’s animated film ‘Justice Society: World War II’, so reviews both of those. Meanwhile I have been watching ‘Star Wars’ series ‘The Bad Batch’, and we both have been watching new Netflix superhero drama ‘Jupiter’s Legacy’, so we give our thoughts on that.

In the TV news, we have all the usual renewals, cancellations and pickups, and we also update you on the latest status of the “bubble shows” on the main 5 US networks before Upfronts next week. In bigger news stories, we discuss NBC ordering yet another Dick Wolf series with ‘Law & Order: For the Defense’, the UK remake Of french hit ‘Call My Agent!’, ‘Vikings’ creator Michael Hirst tackling ‘Billy The Kid’, and the casting changes for ‘The Flash’ Season 8.

On This Weeks Show:

  • I’m joined by Darryl to review the movies, games, and tv shows we’ve been watching over the past week.
  • We take a look at all the latest tv & film news, including all the renewals & cancellations.
  • We give you our recommendations for the upcoming TV in the next few weeks.
