‘Alaska Daily’ & ‘Good Trouble’ Season 4 Premiere Today On Disney+ UK
Disney has released a couple of shows without warning (as they tend to do!), with both Hilary Swank drama ‘Alaska Daily‘ & ‘Good Trouble‘ Season 4 premiering on the streaming service today.
From the mind of Tom McCarthy (‘Spotlight’), ‘Alaska Daily’ stars Hilary Swank as Eileen Fitzgerald, a fiercely talented and award-winning investigative journalist who leaves her high-profile New York life behind after a fall from grace to join a daily metro newspaper in Anchorage on a journey to find both personal and professional redemption.
Alongside Swank, the series stars Jeff Perry (‘Scandal’, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’) as Stanley Cornik, Eileen’s former boss and managing editor of the Daily Alaskan; Grace Dove (‘The Revenant’) as Roz Friendly, an Alaskan Native and star reporter for the Daily Alaskan; Meredith Holzman (‘The Sinner’) as Claire Muncy, veteran Daily Alaskan reporter; Matt Malloy (‘I Love That for You’, ‘Perry Mason’) as Bob Young, Daily Alaskan senior reporter and acting news editor; Pablo Castelblanco (‘Room 104’, ‘Scream Queens’) as Gabriel Tovar, a chatty Daily Alaskan employee; Ami Park (‘This Is Us’) as Yuna Park, a Daily Alaskan cub reporter; And Craig Frank (‘Silicon Valley’, ‘The Messengers’) as Austin Teague, a Daily Alaskan reporter who isn’t afraid to challenge his colleagues and represent the community.
‘Good Trouble’ follows ‘The Fosters’ characters Callie (Maia Mitchell – ‘The Fosters’, ‘The Lion Guard’) and Mariana (Cierra Ramirez – ‘The Fosters’, ‘Secret Life of the American Teenager’) as they embark on the next phase of their young adult lives in Los Angeles, as Mariana tackles the male-dominated world of tech and Callie faces the harsh realities of the federal legal system clerking for a federal judge.
As we begin season four, the Coterie Crew are dealing with the fallout of the season three finale. Tommy Sung’s trial comes to a close, and Callie needs to keep Kathleen from legal trouble. Meanwhile, Malika processes Isaac’s surprise return, Gael tries to keep Isabella in town, and, with the approval of the Fight Club Girls, Also, Mariana meets with Evan, Alice is on the road, leaving Sumi as acting manager, and someone new moves into the Coterie…
Alongside Mitchell and Ramirez, the series stars Emma Hunton as Davia, Tommy Martinez as Gael, Sherry Cola as Alice, Zuri Adele as Malika, Josh Pence as Dennis, and Beau Mirchoff as Jamie.
‘Good Trouble’ previously aired on iPlayer in the UK, but will now premiere on Disney+ UK.
The first 2 episodes of ‘Alaska Daily‘ Season 1 and the first 3 episodes of ‘Good Trouble‘ Season 4 are available on Disney+ UK from today (Weds, 8th February 2023), with new episodes landing weekly.
