Geektown Radio 371: ‘Quantumania’, ‘Hello Tomorrow!’, ‘Star Trek: Picard’ Reviews, TV News & UK Air Dates!

We return with another new episode of the Geektown Radio podcast, and our film reviewer Gray joins me in the co-host chair to chat through and review the week on UK TV, film and gaming, alongside the usual TV news and UK TV air dates.

In an unusual but welcome move for our “film reviewer” Gray, he has actually managed to get out to the cinema and review a film this week, and it was, of course, ‘Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania’, so he gives us his opinion on Marvel’s latest release. We also chat about his thoughts on ‘The Last Of Us’, which is way outside of his usual wheelhouse, along with chatting ‘Happy Valley’, and ‘Our Flag Means Death’. Meanwhile, I review new Apple show ‘Hello Tomorrow!’, alongside ‘Star Trek: Picard’, which returned for its 3rd and final season this week.

In the news section, we run through all the renewals, cancellations and pick-ups such as Disney taking the hatchet to a number of sports-based shows, and the massacre of entertainment formats on broadcast tv this week. We also chat about a possible new ‘Hellboy’ movie, Michael Sheen stepping behind the camera for a new BBC series, and another tv reboot of a classic crime series. Listen below!
