‘9-1-1’ Returns To Disney+ UK In April For Season 6, Part 2
As ‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ heads off on a mid-season break, the original ‘9-1-1‘ returns to Disney+ UK for Season 6, Part 2 next week.
‘9-1-1’ explores the high-pressure experiences of first responders – including police officers, firefighters and dispatchers – who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations. These emergency responders must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in their own lives. The show draws from real-life, high-pressure experiences of first responders who regularly face heart-stopping situations that are often unpredictable, intense and uplifting at the same time.
As we return to season six, a dry thunderstorm rolls over Los Angeles, bringing in a series of lightning strike emergencies for the 118 and leaving a first responder’s life hanging in the balance… and Chimney gets a surprise from a visiting Albert.
The series stars Aisha Hinds as Henrietta “Hen” Wilson, Angela Bassett as Athena Grant Nash, Corinne Massiah as May Grant, Gavin McHugh as Christopher Diaz, Jennifer Love Hewitt as Maddie Buckley, John Harlan Kim as Albert Han, Kenneth Choi as Howard “Chimney” Han, Marcanthonee Jon Reis as Harry Grant, Oliver Stark as Evan “Buck” Buckley, Peter Krause as Robert “Bobby” Nash, Rockmond Dunbar as Michael Grant and Ryan Guzman as Edmundo “Eddie” Diaz.
The firefighter drama is the latest in a string of Disney-owned shows which have been reclaimed by the “mouse house” to premiere exclusively on the UK streaming service. It joins the spin-off series ‘9-1-1: Lone Star’, ‘Grey’s Anatomy‘, and ‘Station 19‘, all of which had previously been airing on Sky Witness in the UK.
The drama is produced by 20th Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television and Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision. Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear are creators, executive producers and writers on the series. Bradley Buecker is an executive producer and director.
